Summary: Plot bad, actors good
Review: Joe Wentworth's best childhood friend was a dwarf named Simon Birch, who was convinced God had a special plan for his life. When Joe's mom Rebecca is killed at a baseball game, it's up to Simon to help Joe figure out who his father is (Rebecca never told of the father's identity). I give five stars for the Oscar-deserving actors, but I take away three stars for the sooooooooooooooo predictable plot.

Summary: I Loved "Simon Birch"! Medford, MA July 11, 1999
Review: Usually, I could care less for dramas. But this one was unbelievably excellent! It was very moving and I nearly cried at the end (and I don't ever cry watching movies!) "Simon Birch" was one of the best dramas I have ever seen. All the actors and actresses, especially Joseph Mazzello and Ian Michael Smith, did a really good job and I am planning on buying the video since it is so good.

Summary: An incredible movie about an incredible God.
Review: This has to be one of the most encougaging movies dealing with life and all that is inexplicable about life; the "why's" of life. In the midst of personal limitations and failures, a child leads them others to understand faith in a present God who is in control, especailly when one cannot see where God is. Everyone should see this movie.

Summary: hard to hold back your tears
Review: This is a very well done movie. It is very funny, but it is very touching and sad. It shows that ANYBODY can be a hero. Simon really belived in becoming a hero, and risked his life to achieve it. When I saw it, I cried.

Summary: Watch this movie, A.S.A.P.!!!!
Review: For anyone who loves a good tear-jerker, a comedy, and an all-around "perfect" film; I highly reccommend Simon Birch. Both Ian Michael Smith and Joseph Mazzello are irrisistable. Watch this, A.S.A.P.!!! :)

Summary: One of the absolute best movies I've ever seen!!!
Review: A movie has to be full of love, drama, excitement, adventure and so many other things to land in "My personal top 5" movies and when I saw Simon Birch the other night for the first time that's where it landed. Ian Michael Smith is an absolutely endearing boy who leaps from the screen right into your heart and deserves an Oscar of his own for this performance. The storyline is exceptional, the writing is well done, the actors who portrayed Miss Wentworth, Simon, Joe, Ben Goodrich and all others were chosen to a "T". If you have not had the opportunity to see this movie and want to see something heartwarming and special...something that will touch your heart and make you laugh and cry and smile...this is a *MUST* movie to see. Will be in my home library as soon as the price is affordable!
