Summary: A MEMORIBLE MOVIE EXPERIENCE THAT WILL LIVE IN YOUR HEART
Review: An excellent movie that deserves more than 5 stars i would give it 6+ stars but since i can only give it five i will give it five. I wished that more people would have seen this heartwarming drama based on a true story. Because it is so rewarding at the end.The entire cast gives passionate perofrmances espcially Chris Cooper who is excellent as the father. The feel in this movie is incredible. The production design and the photography are excellent and the music is very heartfelt and well done. This movie has only grossed $31 million i hope that this movie does well on video because it was ignored in theaters. THIS IS A HEARTFELT MOVIE THAT IS SO UPLIFTING THAT IT WILL LIVE IN THE HEART FOREVER.

Summary: Far above anything I have seen recently
Review: This was one of the best movies I have ever seen. It really hit home as I grew up during this era. It is a must see and should be required reading and viewing for high school English classes. It was so refreshing not to be filled with sex and violence.

Summary: This deserves more than 5 stars
Review: Out of every movie I have seen about someone trying to achieve their dream, this is the best. (It's better than most movies of any kind) You think all are the same, someone wants to do something and then they get to do it, or they don't either way it leaves you feeling disappointed. But the thing about this is that IT'S TRUE.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Wonderful Movie
Review: This movie is wonderful in many ways. It has a wonderful plot, and unlike most movies of our day, it teaches a wonderful lesson without violence, sex, or drugs. Like the book, it teaches that dreams can come true if you have the courage to work towards your goal!

Summary: A suprising knockout
Review: October Sky is based from a true story about a guy who builds a rocket that rockets itself to orbit . This movie had good acting and good sequences but it had some unexcited moments and some confusing story plots but it's a must-see.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A very moving and inspiring movie!
Review: This is a "must see movie". It not only inspires its audience, it also motivates and gives them a sense of direction, hope, and belief in not giving up their dreams!

Summary: One for all ages
Review: Having grown up only 7 miles from Homer Hickam and being the son of a coal miner I can really appreciate Homer's story. This is one movie that should be required viewing for all students for it shows that one can achieve any goal in life if they have the desire and determination.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: What I wish more movies were like
Review: I saw this movie three times and each time I enjoyed it tremendously. I've recommended it to friends and relatives. It would be a great addition to a literature/science curriculum in high school.

Rating: 5 stars

Summary: awesome movie, would like to give 6+ stars
Review: the movie was not filmed on location, but the scenery didn't miss by much. i know, because the town is in the same part of wv that i'm from. the movie is just unbelievable, and if you like it i suggest the book it is based on, "rocket boys." the book may even be better than the movie.
