Summary: Excrutiatingly Exciting!
Review: Newsies... Been out for about 8 years now. I can remember when my sister took me to see it when I was 11. I was in 5th grade and even then, I loved it. It has always been a favorite to everyone I have discussed about it. The singing, the dancing, and the touching story I believe by-pass some of the raw cinematography errors that one may see. I certainly wish that a company would buy the script from Disney and produce it into a live theatre version. I believe it would fend well. Anyway, if you haven't seen this specticle of a tale of life way back when, and you enjoy a good dance movie, do yourself a favor and watch it.

Review: Newsies is about hundreds of guys living in New York that are runaways and street corners. The only way to get bread on the table is to buy newspapers and sell them to others. Thus creating a career. It is a touching story, and the cute guys that are singing and dancing make it especially perfect. Like another viewer said, "This is no Westside Story!"

Review: this is the best movie of all time to me! It is definately thebest musical ever and the singing and dancing is the best I have everseen in guys! The boys are extremely good looking and excellent actors. I was amazed at how it was so realistic!

Review: Newsies was a wonderful, excuse me, ABSOLUTELY wonderful movie. Max Casella- I didn't know he could sing! He was great in Doogie Howser, and when I saw him in Newsies as Racetrack Higgins I say to myself, "Wow! Vinnie can sing and dance and look cool doing it!". Anyway, I very strongly reccomend Newsies. Superb acting, awesome dance routines, great songs. I love historical movies, and I would also reccomend this movie for being historical! I know I'm strange. Five Stars and Then Some!

Review: The first time I saw this movie I was amazed. I saw it with my older sisters, and immediatly we started joking about the best part being the fact that there are cute guys that can sing and dance. But, this movie is so great. The harmonizing is so incredible. I can't even say how great it is. Watch it for yourself and see.

Review: The Newsies is one of the best musicals I have ever seen for younger peoples. This is not Westside Story, I really don't think it was meant to be. This is a different kind of masterpiece. The casting was excellent (in more ways then one *wink*), singing, acting, and the dance coordination was wonderful. Think of the effort put in by these guys! I think the Newsies should be re-released, I don't think the first time the Newsies got their OWN headline across. So many have really enjoyed it, should the company do something in return? I think Hollywood and Blockbuster are really getting tired of us! And yes of course all hail GABRIEL DAMON.

Review: When i first watched this video 7 years ago, i was mesmorized by the dancing and singing, and the young, attractive cast. Revisiting it recentley, i was still impressed by the "Annie"esque storyline and characters, however the most disapointing thing truly is the musical score( which is surprising with names like Menken and Disney attached to it). A few songs are catchy, but most fall flat. Upon seeing it again, i realized that i simply enjoy the film's simple "underdog" storyline and adorable cast. Teenage girls should appreciate Christian Bale as well...

Review: OMG! when i rented the newsies i fell in love w/ it. It was like a dieseas, i was sooo addicted to it! then i sorta forgot about it for like 2 years and then my best guy friend, brook reminded it to me again, and i watched it and i WAS ADDICTED AGAIN! i actually still cry! and i'm now in LOVE w/ christian Bale! OMG it is my life , me and brook are newsie pals, when i get home from school i go right to watching it! but i'm soooo mad! that it's not for lease! that really makes me mad! i have rented it for 5 days and can't keep my hands off it! I LOVE YOU NEWSIES! i have to go whatch it AGAIN buh bye!

Review: Newsies is a great movie! My sister rented it and she didn't even know what it was. We watched and fell in "LOVE" with it! We watched it like four days in a row. I wan't to buy it. I can't believe you can't buy it any more! It's a great movie.

Review: "Newsies" is one of the best musicals I have ever seen.I first saw it in 6th grade and I fell in love. Every person who loves musicals should see it.I gave it five stars becauses it is a very interesting and cool movie. And ALL of the newsie characters are cute especially Christian Bale.I hope to buy it soon but I'm very annoyed because it's not out now.
