Summary: A great movie for teenagers
Review: As a devote basher of no-brainer "teeny movies" I was ready to watch Wish Upon a Star to give it a bad review. Instead, I was totally surprised. The acting is good and there is actually a plot to follow. The script actually sounds realistic and the film addresses real issues that teens face, without becoming a sappy mess. One of the leading actresses in the movie is Kathreine Heigl, so I should have known this would be a pretty good movie. When two sisters actually switch bodies, they end up having to adapt to one anothers lifestyle. Unfortunatly for each of them, that's harder than they expected. Lots of fun to watch.

Summary: Starstruck
Review: Beguiling, this movie surrounds you like a smile from a great friend. A simple plot line, and stereotypical characters can't stop this movie from suceeding. It is the relationship between the sisters that is the story and all else mere window dressing to show who they are and who they become. Still the window dressing is just right. It leads us but rarely distracts us, until all is right in the world for one brief shining moment, and
the music is pretty good too. All in all much more pleasant than
fighting leftist guerillas in South America.

Summary: Wonderful Disney movie
Review: This is a wonderful movie that my young children like to watch over and over.... even I enjoy watching it repeatedly. This movie touches on our dreams and envious fantasies, and reminds us that our lives not quite so bad after all. Very enjoyable!

Summary: a magical movie
Review: Hallie and Alexia Wheaton are average girls, well as average as you can get when your a senior fashion girl or a brainy plane jane. It all starts when Hallie wishes upon a shooting star to be her sister. From then on, the trouble begins. At first there is mainly just revenge but then do we see a friendship forming? With their pyschiatritic parents, a senior snob group, a basetball star for a boyfriend, and a close best friend, and the boy next door the girls learn that being yourself is the only way to go.

Summary: Wish Upon A Star AGAIN & AGAIN & AGAIN!!!
Review: I saw this movie on the Disney channel and fell totally in love with it!! As cheezy as it may seem, it glimpses into our dreams and lets it go a while. It's great! I've never rented the movie, but I've heard it's better than the Disney channel version. We'll see, I just ordered the DVD. Can't wait to get it! I check the mail in anticipation everyday!

Summary: Wish Upon a Star
Review: I thought that Wish Upon a Star was such a cute movie. At first I thought it looked a little cheesy, but then I got into it. I went and bought it right after I saw it on tv a few weeks ago and suggest to anyone who likes feel good movies to buy it. It definitely wasn't an academy award type movie, but it had a good theme.

Summary: NOT ORIGINAL BUT DEFINATELY ENJOYABLE ENTERTAINMENT
Review: Not unlike most of the people who've reviewed this movie, I happened to stumble across this one. Why are the good ones always so hard to find?? Being a guy and all, I basically picked it up because of Katherine Heigl. After watching it, I think that the only thing that kept it from being promoted more was the not-so-original story of people switching bodies.

Yet, the movie is just sheer charm and fun. Both Danielle Harris and Heigl are an absolute joy to watch. Perfectly cast. Well-crafted and touching. Both stars show personalities that had previously not been shown in their other movies; making this a highly enjoyable movie that exceeds, by far, some of the more heavily promoted theatrical releases of the same genre.

Perfect movie for a rainy, boring day. Watch it multiple times and just feel good about being yourself and appreciate those around you.

But I was wrong..... it was exceptionally a good movie....everybody wishes they could be someone else and this is the perfect movie to show them the way...... perfect for kids and adults
