Summary: Facing your Childhood...
Review: Deep down in all of us there is a wanting. To be a better person, or to serve God, or even to criticize the ones we dislike. We all get that feeling, of missing something, the one that we have - long after the element of being young has passed. In (The Kid), Bruce Willis plays Russ, a person who has tricked himself into believing that he has a happy life. In reality he in nothing but a jerk. He makes his living by ripping down others to a level beneath themselves: in short he is an "appearance consultant". He makes a living by telling you that you look bad, and you can always look better. Then one evening, an odd miracle happens. Rusty (Willis) gets a visit from his younger self. At first he tries to make the kid disappear with heavy medication; that doesn't work. It's not a dream or a psychological breakdown, it's him!

Young rusty can whip out opinions just as fast as him, and he don't like it. Somehow they have to put there heads together and figure out how to fix the mess. Do they get him back? Fix both of their lives? Get a dog? Watch the kid. 5 stars to the good story, and a surprise ending...!

Summary: A great Movie
Review: I saw this movie for the first time today, I loved it, I did however, I did find the part when little Rusty was told off by his father really sad, maybe because, both little Rusty & big Rusty were crying

Summary: Bruce Willis plus Cute Little Boy equals Box Office Gold.
Review: The Above formula is a Proven one ("The Sixth Sense" and "Unbreakable"), and "The Kid" only makes it Stronger. Being such a HUGE Bruce Willis fan, I was a Little hesitant about seeing him in such an Outright Kids movie, but after watching about 5 minutes, I knew I was in for something Great. It is Original, Witty, Clever and Not too Sickly Sweet like a lot of these films can be, and most importantly it's Funny for all Ages.

The Magic of Disney films is in Full Throttle as Bruce has Somehow come into contact with Himself, at about age 8. The film follows Bruce's attempts to find out why his younger self is Here, and How to get him Back.

Bruce Willis gives a Comedic Performance that puts Professional Comedians to Shame. He made me Laugh, Cry, Cheer and Applaud. Spencer Breslan plays the Little Bruce and he is Wonderful. Many child actors tend to get on my Nerves, but this kid Never does. He is Terrific. Emily Mortimer is Equally Likeable as Bruce's "Sort Of" Girlfriend. She has an Innocence and Youthfulness that makes her Relationship with Spencer All the more Realistic and Honest.

"The Kid" is one of Disney's Best Live-Action films Ever. I'd recommend it to Everyone. Kids, Teens, Adults... Everyone should find Something to like about the film, I Loved Everything about it.

Summary: I enjoyed every minute..
Review: This movie is a joy! I am always amazed at people dissing a Disney movie by saying it was too "disneyish" or "sappy" etc. C'mon my friends...it is what it is! Does every movie need to have 90 minutes of violence, sex and toilet humor to attract an audience? ARE we a society of morons? A competent story line and clever casting makes this film a treasure. One, of a very few, I can actually sit down and enjoy with family and friends.

Summary: Extremely silly, typical DISNEY production
Review: I must recognize the fact that Willis gave his best and proved once and for all that he really can act in any time of movie. BUt this movie is boring, a chep Disney's catalogue product, with the same infernal soundtrack as always, a "funny"kid developed to catch the audience's emotion and all the custumary cliches from this studio. The story's idea isn't bad, but the execution is constrained in a clear attempt to pleasure all the ages.

Summary: Yawn!
Review: If You're looking for a movie that the kids will love i wouldn't recommend this one. I almost fell asleep in the movie theater during this one. The only way it got two stars was because of Bruce Willis's acting and a bit becausee the kid[Spencer or something like that] wasn't that bad.

Summary: Actually, I haven't seen this...
Review: I tried to, but according to the manager of my local Disney Store, there is some problem with this title and Dinosaur that cause them to fail on some older DVD players. They had no news about planned fixes for these titles. They also couldn't say whether this problem would be recurring in future releases.

Just thought you should know...

Summary: The star is really the kid,
Review: and he should be on the cover too... i find it amusing that the kid actors Bruce Willis has acted with almost alwaz out perform him... Spencer Breslin was way funnier than Willis in this movie (the scene with his shrink was pretty funny though), and Haley Joel Osment just made him looked like a stiff in The Sixth Sense. The commentary track by director Jon Turteltaub and Spencer Breslin was really interesting too, cuz u can just tell SPencer'm concentration just drifts away from time to time like small kids usually do (at one point, he couldn't help himself and started eating candy, it was hilarious =8). overall it's a good story well told, i just wish it was someone more vivid that willis started in it.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: No more small children doing commentaries!
Review: Disney's The Kid is a cute movie. I love Bruce Willis, so I watch anything with him in it. The best part of a DVD, in my opinion, is the director's commentary track. I love being told the bloopers, when the sunlight doesn't match from one scene to the next, and blurbs about the actors - especially their improvs to the dialogue. I had just listened to "The Whole Nine Yards" - another Bruce Willis movie - and that commentary was great. "The Kid's" commentary was very irritating because Spencer Breslin is just too young to do a commentary! Jon Turteltaub would just start telling a juicy tidbit and then Spencer Breslin would interrupt him! Jon Turteltaub even tried to gently admonish him for doing this! So basically, the commentary included practically nothing about Bruce Willis, which is the reason that most people watched the movie for - and by extension were listening to for!
