Summary: Yours, Mine, and Ours is a delight to watch.
Review: Never enjoying the perfection of the squeaky clean Brady Bunch, I was wary of similar movies or shows. This movie came as a pleasent surprise! It added such a zest for life, and such a reality to it that the Brady Bunch never had! You connected with each child, and even I knew their names before the movie ended. Lucille Ball is superb in this role. I have rarely seen her play too much of the mother role, for I Love Lucy had Little Ricky, but he was just a side character. She beautifully portrayed the typical single Mom. Henry Fonda gave a stunning performance, which made you simple love him. You felt for him, and for his kids. One of the best scenes in the movie, is where all of his boys, when making a drink for Lucille Ball's character, unknowningly add liquor to her supposed screw driver. By unknowingly, I mean that they didn't know the others had also added something. It turns out as a hysterical scene in which she is raving drunk, and is spinning the lazy Susan as if her life depended on it! I really suggest this movie to anyone who likes Henry Fonda, Lucille Ball, family movies or good humor.

Summary: 90 Minute Argument In Favor Of BIRTH CONTROL!
Review: When I was a kid growing up in 1960s/70s Germany, a family with 4 children was considered "asocial" or "trash". The characters so lovingly portrayed by Lucille Ball and Henry Fonda have 18 children between them. COME OOOOONNN! This isn't cute, it's SICK! Any woman who willingly gives birth 10 times should have been forced to become sterilized several "pops" ago. What kind of message is this kind of "comedy" sending to the next generation of parents? We're not living in the dark ages of pre-Victorian times. This is the real world, and it's been REAL for a while now. Let's keep focused and agree that HUMUNGOUS FAMILIES are nothing to find amusing, but real cause for worry! -- There are some good jokes here, but my laughter was always stifled by the thought of this kids-loving super-family. Don't let YOUR kids see this!

Summary: Laughriot for Families Large and Small
Review: I watched this as a child and loved it. Every time I see it, it makes me laugh. It's one of those classic movies about Americana that plays a lot, but you can't find it at any old Blockbuster. This is great for those who have big families to relate to. And those with only one child should breathe a sigh of relief they don't have all the complications that come with the North-Beardsley household. I like the drunk scene too. But I like the supermarket scene the best. I love how they need a squad of carry-outs to take out their groceries and their conversation at the check-out. Some of the things that are said are still true for families of the new milinium.

Summary: One of the best family films ever
Review: Our family has seen this movie so many times that the video needs to be replaced. It's great to find such good talent and a warm true story. Whenever we are feeling a little down we just put this tape in. No matter how many times you watch it you will find even more in it, there are numerous interactions in the background between the kids that just add more depth and reality to the story. What makes it even more special is knowing that this is a true story. I guarentee that you will love it.

Summary: Yours, Mine and Ours is priceless.
Review: This movie has the best message about love and family. The struggles that Helen(Lucille Ball) and Frank(Henry Fonda) endure in order to unite their families together shows how love can blossom amidst the chaos of everyday life.

I have definitely lost track as to how many times that I have seen this movie. If I'm ever feeling down or blue, then this is one of the movies that I want to see.

Lucille Ball, Henry Fonda, Van Johnson and the rest of the cast make a delightful movie where love and family rule.

If you haven't seen it, then I would definitely make a point of it. This movie should be on everyone's must-see list.

Summary: HENRILU
Review: Based on the true story of the Beardsley family who lived in Monterey County, California, this is one of Lucy's finer latter-day performances (her drunk scene is a delight). Essentially, the story is a movie version of how the Brady Bunch got together and although a little dated it's a most enjoyable family film (for some reason, entertainment from the period 1967-1972 dates badly (especially TV shows, i.e. "Room 222", "Courtship of Eddie's Father", "That Girl", "Mod Squad", "Family Affair" and the like.) As a footnote: In 1942, Lucy had her great chance at a meaty dramatic role in "The Big Street" in which she starred with 37 year-old Fonda. Lucille played Gloria, selfish and rather bitchy showgirl who essentially becomes a cripple; Hank played Little Pinks a devoted admirer. Ball was mostly praised by the critics, but, alas, the picture didn't make a dime.

Summary: A hilarious family comedy for everyone!
Review: I have just added this movie to my list of favorite Lucy movies. Yours, Mine, and Ours is probably one of the funniest movies ever made by Lucille Ball. Lucy and Henry Fonda have such great chemistry onscreen. I laughed throughout the whole movie. Lucy's drunk scene is pure classic-it'll remind you of her ever-famous Vitameatavegemin scene. Lucy has not lost her touch at all-she never did. It's always a delight to watch her make her hilarious magic happen, and this movie has plenty of magic. Imagine watching the Brady Bunch-times 10! Just think of all the side-splitting mishaps and pranks go along with it. Yours, Mine, and Ours is suitable for everyone-kids, teenagers, and adults. It's that kind of sophisticated comedy that makes it enjoyable to any generation. This movie is a must-see for any Lucy fan!

Summary: For You, Me, & Everyone
Review: If you're looking for a "feel good" movie, this is definitely the answer to your search. Lucille Ball and Henry Fonda are the utterly believable parents of this overwhelming brood of EIGHTEEN. Handled with gentle humor, Helen (Lucille Ball) and Frank (Henry Fonda) initially determine that there are far too many obstacles in the way of a relationship. Eventually, however, they take on the formidable task of uniting their two families into 'one big happy'. The trials and tribulations of accomplishing that feat will be all too familiar to those who've tried. This is excellent entertainment for the whole family. I saw it FIVE times at the theatre when it was first released.
