Summary: A great film for all ages
Review: This is a rare picture that entertains all ages - it is visually stunning, witty, and generally likeable. The story was uplifting and the message was positive. The more adult-oriented humor was not offensive, and probably slid over children's heads. It is a great example of what Computer Animation and Woody Allen are capable of.

Review: Antz was fully entertaining. It's story line and character development was creative and endlessly humorous. It featured Woody Allen's usual sophisticated style and complexity, and was very satisfying as an imaginatively expressive piece, just as one would expect from having studied his repertoire. It was an excellent, classically structured psychological narrative that was not dumbed down for the audience. It invited voyeuristic participation, and offered both serious and comical social commentary. Antz is definitely in it's own genre in the realm of animation.

Summary: it was an average movie
Review: I liked this movie but it was to normal for me, I am the type of person who likes Jim Carrey in Ace Ventura Pet Detectives 1-2. But Antz was enjoyed by my little munchkins. This movie isn't as good as A Bug's Life and to me not worth the money, the way I see it is that if my kids dont whine for it its just a waste.

Summary: Pay no attention to "Brown and Boring"
Review: This is an excellent film -- funny, dramatic, and ultimately very entertaining. This is the kind of film you can sit down and watch any time. It's the classic story of someone who has to be a hero. Woody Allen does a terrific job, and this turns out to not be a standard Woody Allen film. This is *not* dumbed down for children; adults will enjoy this. Highly recommended.

Summary: There were some funny lines but the movie itself stunk.
Review: OK, call me picky if you like, but personally, I think the so-called 'plot' was idiodic. Sure, there were funny lines, but not enough to make a dumb plot good. Also, the portrayal of ants was awful. Ants do not go to phsycologysts, bars,they do not dance, they have no idea what fire is, I mean, come on. Also, the queen ant is not treated like royalty, there are no princesses or generals,and ants do not use picks to build tunnels, or have overseers. Also, where did the rule about no going outside come from? I'm sorry if this is your favorite movie or something, but it was just awful.

Summary: A really great movie for all ages.
Review: Antz is a really good movie. My favourite part is when the big ant said " were the lords of the earth". I really liked the action sequences, and the thrilling battle scenes. Perhaps a bit scarry for some younger kids, but I liked it.

Summary: Brown and Boring...
Review: I was totally bored by "Antz." The story was an insult to the audience as it straddled between it's lame attempts to be an"adult" film (whatever THAT is! How about just making a GOOD MOVIE!) and it's fear of losing the family audience. The animation lacked any individuality, and the design was repulsive. Trying not to be Disney should not preclude good taste! And it's striking to note that Speilberg has said that even his own kids liked "A Bug's Life" better!!

Review: I absolutly loved Antz because it was funnier than hell. Woody Allen Gave a excellent performance and so did Sharon Stone every body worked well together.Really what made this movie so good is that the script is so smart and funny.and The animation is first rate But the Bubble Scene is the coolest thing in the movie.Better than A Bug's Life Far better. You rock DreamWorks
