Summary: A MUST have
Review: When my son was two months old I bought him Baby Einstein and Baby Mozart. We used to watch it and listen to Mozart music all the time. I noticed at that age he was aware of his surrounding earlier than his age. I bought him all Julie Clarks videos, books and flash cards (Baby Bach, Baby Shekspere, Baby Van Gogh and Baby Santa). Now at age two he know all his numbers, letters, animals and colors. the videos are designed in a way that attracts the children and enhance their thinking. Julie Clark is very amazing and she did a wonderful job

Summary: Not the best in the series
Review: Our 16 month old son watches this video, but it doesn't interest him in the same way that Baby Van Gogh or Baby Mozart do. What I don't like about it is that it doesn't really do anything to reinforce the words learned. For example, after the poem about the train, one might expect the video to show toy trains. Instead it shows toys that have no relationship to the word/poem. In contrast, the Baby Van Gogh video would introduce a color, then show toys and scenes featuring the same color. My advice is to skip this one and go straight to Baby Van Gogh.

Summary: My little boy is really fascinated by this video
Review: My little boy(2yrs old) really enjoys this video. When the little girls sings their abc's he jumps right in and sings his abc's with them. He also likes to dance alot while watching this video.There are 12 words that are explored in pictures and poem form. They are: train,flower,apple,cat,grass,frog,leaf,snow,tree,cow,butterfly and moon. It's really nice to watch this video with your child, point to an object and then name that object as your child views the video with you.

Summary: Bard, the puppet, is a delight
Review: This is the most professional production of the entire video series. The puppet, Bard, is an absolute delight!! My son fell in love with him and laughs everytime he watches this video. My only negative comment is that [they] should have hired a professional voice artist for the video. [the] voice lacks "umph" and is boring. Bard is what kept my son mesmorized.

Summary: Baby Magic!
Review: We were introduced to this video when our daughter Grace was seven months old. I regret not having exposed her earlier, since she loved it right from the start. She is now 17 months old and we have gotten her the entire Baby Einstein collection. Amazingly she loves them all and has learned enthusiastically from all the videos. It is obvious to us that babies understand so much more than we can imagine and these videos are such a lovely introduction to learning.

Summary: Baby Shakespeare captivates and thrills!
Review: This video is an absolute favorite of my 16 month old son! He is not a big TV or video watcher, but he is totally captivated and excited by Baby Shakespeare. He laughs out loud, dances, and anticipates what's coming next. He growls along with the tiger puppet and squeals at the sight of baby's "piggy toes" running through the grass. He claps when the children sing their ABC's. This video has 100% of his attention, but he's not sitting like a lump, hypnotized by what he's watching. He is learning, feeling, and interacting with this video like nothing I've ever seen with such a young child! And the best part of him being so enchanted by this video is that he wants to share it with me - he wants me to help him interact, point things out, clap, and dance along. It is a very special event for the both of us! Baby Shakespeare is only our second in the Baby Einstein series, and I am looking forward to completing our collection with all of the videos. I am anxiously awaiting the delivery of Baby Santa - we can't wait!! Thank you Julie Aigner-Clark, for giving us such a brilliant chain of videos for our children - unlike any other children's videos I've ever seen. Barney and The Teletubbies can't hold a candle to your Baby Einstein series!

Summary: Perhaps a different title (would smell as sweet)?
Review: I'd bet that a lot of would-be buyers are scared off by the title, wondering if their 1-year old is quite ready for King Lear. Actually the readings are derived from a variety of poets most of whom employ crisp imagery and generally easy-to-grasp similes that make one (parents and older kids) see things in a new way. The pacing of this video is perhaps more leisurely than Baby Mozart, more contemplative. There are still the usual group of puppets and toys however as well as some semi-violent slapstick that some parents might find objectionable ( I did not). Initially our 16-month old was bothered by the photographic sequences of real-life snow, flora and fauna, preferring the video sequences of toys against blank backdrops. However, the video does a wonderful job of creating transitions between drawings of real world objects and photographs. The first gradually morphs into the second. Now he is very enthusiastic about the video as a whole. I would recommend this video as a followup to Baby Mozart and Baby Bach (the latter of which is good, but I would agree that it is the weakest of the group.)

Summary: Disappointing..not the same quality as the other videos
Review: My baby loved Baby Mozart and Baby Einstein, so I expected the same quality of entertainment from this video. Sadly, we were all disappointed - especially my bored baby. The whole video seems amateurish in comparison with the other videos. Even the puppets look sloppy and improvised. My baby loved "Blah" the dragon from Baby Mozart, but he does not have the same appeal here. He is poorly puppeteered and looks more like a pretty sock than an animated character. Also, Julie Clarke's nasal voice throughout this tape is grating and does not do justice to the poems recited.

Review: My son loves this video.He watches it over and over. We have had to purchase another tape because he wore out the first one. By far this is one of the best videos I have ever seen for children. It beats Barney and Sesame Street hands down!!!

Summary: Son captivated and enjoys -book shld be cardboard and sequen
Review: Like Baby Mozart, my son enjoys this video. Great for those 15 minutes you need to relax or get something done. Don't like the part where the animal on top of the box is pushed off by the dragon and then the dragon laughs. Not very nice. The book is sweet but it should be in sequence with the video and a board book as he's 11 months old and ripped it apart. Baby Einstein unfortunately didn't capture my boy at all.
