Summary: Essential DVDs!
Review: Two great flicks in one handsome package. The movies look PERFECT on DVD, and, lucky me, they are some of the only movies that my wife and I BOTH love to watch. They are filled with smart dialogue, amazing animation, brilliant direction and great voice overs from Tom Hanks and Tim Allen.
I can't wait for Toy Story 3. (And Monsters Inc., Pixar's next big flick, due out in November 2001!)

Summary: AN EXAMPLE THAT BREAKS THE RULES !!!!
Review: Sequels generally are horrible and worst than the first one. TOY STORY 2 is an example that sometimes this rule has some exceptions. What a movie, what a movie !!! The new characters are outstanding, the scene where they parody the Luke Skywalker / Darth Vader relationship is stupednous, there are few boring DisneyÂ's kind songs. Everything flows smoothly. ItÂ's for every age, but I thing adults will enjoy it more !!

Summary: One of my most favorite movies!
Review: I must have watched this 20 times it seems like! It never gets old, and all the jokes still have me chuckling. I love this movie because it is sooooo well thought-out and the voices are done with perfection. This is a definate buy for a young child or kid, and most adults will enjoy it too (my parents and relatives think it's an awesome movie). Not to mention the great cast they have (Tom Hanks, Tim Allen). Another good movie to check out if you like this is the original Toy Story. I am very impressed at Pixars animation. Other good Disney Pixar movies to see is A Bugs Life and Monsters Inc. I could probably rave all day about this, but to not bore you and to make this short and sweet, let me just say "I completely reccomend this!"

Summary: Hilarious Movie
Review: Absolutely a Disney classic. I usually don't like the sequels as much as the first movie but this movie is totally comparable to the original. The characters are pretty much the same. Buzz, Woody,Rex (my favorite) and a few new characters. Then Andy acquires a cow girl. But the cow girl is stolen. Woody and Buzz go after her trying to recover her. They do everything they can. And they find her. Great movie. If you liked the original Toy Story, you will love this one.

Summary: Two Classics!
Review: It is very rare that one can get two quality movies together with one purchase. These movies are both enjoyable every time I watch them.

Summary: great as 1
Review: The first Toy Story was really good, and i thought the second wouldnt be as great. But i saw it and it was great, maybe even BETTER than the 1st one. It started out when Woody gets sold to a guy that collects him and the guy wants to sell Woody to a museum. Woody meets all new friends of his kind and wants to leave with them. Buzz gets a crew and heads out to Al's Toy Barn to resue Woody before he is gone forever.......

Summary: Why does Al say "Don't touch my Moustache when hanging up?
Review: My 5 year old son loves TS2. Unlike a lot of Disney there is not much violence and bad behavior. Jessie recalling in song how her owner played with her then abanded her is a real tear jerker. The animation is great, the voices really match. Traits like loyalty and challenging oneself are emphaiszed during this movie. Two thumbs up!

Oh, now why does Al say to the Japanese businessman "don't touch my moustache" before hanging up the phone? Well if one slurs that phrase it sortof sounds like "Doitousamasata" which is "your'e welcome" in Japanese!

Summary: I got shushed by children. . .
Review: During one of the more hilarious scenes in Toy Story 2 (and I'm not even talking about the Barbie dolls) my friends and I (all in our twenties) started laughing so loud that young children sitting in front of us turned around and gave us dirty looks. Later they shushed us. But what can I say? These are darn funny movies.

My favorite is Toy Story 2, cause I think it's a bit more female friendly. And anyone who loved the story The Velveteen Rabbit will be able to relate it's theme. Even if you have to baby-sit to justify to your friends renting this movie, just rent a kid and do it.

Summary: Good Job Disney & Pixar!!!
Review: "Toy Story" and "Toy Story 2" are really fun movies to watch. Not only are they presented in cutting edge computer graphics, thanks to Pixar, but they also have a great story line with a witty script. "Toy Story" is the first movie I've seen with such incredible CGI work. Pixar really does a great job in designing each character, especially Woody and Buzz. The animation is so smooth and colorful that watching both "Toy Story" and "Toy Story 2" are pure eye candy. These are great Disney productions that does not have your run-of-the-mill Disney story line. These aren't musically inclined like most Disney movies, except for a couple of songs in "Toy Story 2". And these movies aren't Disney remakes of a fairy tale or a historical event. These are original work, which makes these movies so much better. The extra animation shorts by Pixar, "Tin Toy" and "Luxo Jr." are fun to watch. If you are thinking of purchasing these two movies, get the 2-pack or 3-pack, it's worth it. I would also recommend "A Bug's Life" which has the same brilliance in animation and story telling as the "Toy Story" movies. I'm also looking forward to seeing the upcoming Disney/Pixar movie "Monsters, Inc.". From the 2 trailors I've seen of it, it'll be fantastic.

Summary: A true achievement.
Review: When I went to see Toy Story 2 in the theaters, I was unsure what to expect. I was wary of sequels, such as the Land Before Time and Disney's other attempts at continuing a sucessful story. And as I watched, I realized that this wasn't a sequel, just the next chapter in the life of the beloved Woody and Buzz. The story was well set up, and actually topped the first. It was interesting and funny. It had the same quick wit as the original, but the writers were clearly more comfortable with the characters. It took all of the great things from Toy Story, and used them to build even better things for Toy Story 2. I highly suggest it for every reason: It was funny, quick, intelligent, sweet, kind, enticing and interesting.
