Summary: A great comeback for Disney!!!
Review: Disney for a while were making movies that weren't very good (Hercules, The Hunchback of Notra Dame, Pocahontas) and over the years I began to think that disney had sunk to the bottom when it came to classic anamated movies...then I saw Mulan...AND BOY IS IT GOOD!!!! I must have laugehed a billon times throughout this whole movie (which I rarely do when it comes to movies) and also became very enthralled in the whole concept of the story. Mulan has comedy, romance, action and most of all DRAMA!!!! What else could people want???? Plus you add a great cast and the star of it all (who played Mulan) (the girl, June, From the Five star movie 'THE JOY LUCK CLUB')!!!!! A wonderful heartfilled movie...not too sappy and not too dumb! It's....PERFECT!!!! GREAT JOB DISNEY!!!!

Summary: Reject the Disney formula.
Review: Please tell Walt Disney that you do not like to have your intelligence insulted. Do not see their movies or buy their cheap plastic garbage. As several other reviewers stated, the kooky side-kick characters are just lame. The lame stereotypical depictions of good and evil were very shameless (big, dark, neanderthal-like villians with red and yellow glowing eyes? please). One might argue that these films are fun for the kids, but that may not be true. In driving for profits, Disney sacrifices quality and artistic style for a bland product, geared towards pulling profits. This is an unfortunate phenomenon, because any appreciation for art fails to be conveyed to the audience. This problem can also be seen in the new Star Wars film, which likewise strives to pull profit rather than be at all artistic.

Review: I'm a college student and my roommates and I loved this movie!! We watched it all the time, in fact we had the entire thing memorized. This isn't just a movie for kids, it's for older people also. It's funny, interesting, and worth seeing over and over again.

Review: This is the best movie in the world!!! I love it!! The storyline is great. Finally Disney woke up and made a movie that wasn't so "boy saves girl" and romantic! The music is great too. I'd recommend the soundtrack to everyone. I also think that this move is great for everyone of all ages! This is not just for girls!!! This is great!

Review: I work with little girls. I have little girls living in my house. Every one of them has responded favorably to this movie. Good Job, Disney! I'm extremely impressed that the new message in entertainment is "fight for what you believe in" instead of (from my youth) "be pretty and happy and put up with abuse and then Prince Charming will come along and rescue you." Mulan is real life, expressed by a cartoon. Any more where that came from?

Review: My 3 year old loves this movie. This is the first time she has really gotten into the "character". She insists on being called Mulan and we must watch it several times a day. I thought we had reached the pinacle with toy story first and then Hercules. My husband and I can also appreciate the humor and really enjoy watching it, even if it is the fifth showing of the day!

Summary: The "Da Bomb" Movie of the year!! (Forever&Always really...)
Review: This movie was tight!!! At first I though it was the typical romance story... You know what? I was dead wrong!!! This was one of the most incredible masterpieces EVER, and I do mean EVER, made by Disney. They finally struck it to the 90's with Mushu (Eddie Murphy) and 98 degrees doing "True to Your Heart". I really don't get why people don't like this film... Is it because it's not traditional? Is it because Disney changed the storyline? Or is it because it just damn sucked? Well....It's VERY obvious that most people who have made reviews on here say that this movie kicks ass, am I right? About the tradition thing, many Asian cultures, including Chinese, sit on the floor when they eat. I did that in a resturant in Taipei, a Chinese country mind you! Not only Japanese sit on the floor. And it was the Japanese who adopted the kimono from the Chinese. Chinese used to wear kimonos, it's just that they lost the tradition and went on to somethin' else! I'm sorry, but it looks like it's YOU who needs to do the research, not Disney. They've done a fine job already. My overall message is that this movie TOTALLY kicks ass and is bound to be one of the most triumphant movies Disney has ever made!!! Am I right? Give the people what they want!!
