Summary: Disney sees $$$ with VIOLENCE?
Review: This movie had way too much violence. I am glad that I only rented this and that I wasn't lulled by the Disney name to buy it! My four-year-old thought it was scary and my six-year-old asked me to fast-forward through the violent parts.

If you liked Toy Story 2, don't bother with this one!

Summary: Is 0 stars possible?
Review: If you see this movie in your local Blockbuster or movie store,I suggest you run screaming in the opposite direction. Toy Story and it's sequel are genuine MASTERPIECES! But this cheesy excuse for $ for Disney is just unacceptable!Very corny story lines and no 3d animation completley wreck this film.Probably the worst movie since Fantasia.Wait for Toy Story 2!

Summary: I LOVE Disney - HATE this movie!
Review: I am a Disney "NUT" (am making my second trip to Disney World this year in a couple of weeks! ) but I am extremely dissapointed in this movie. The story is lame and the animation is nowhere near the level of the other Toy Story movies. I guess that is the reason that it was released direct to video!

Summary: Good Movie
Review: This is a real good movie and I really recommend to renting or buying this. The DVD version comes with a trivia game which is cool and something like a trivia game were you guess that person which is not the greatest. There is also Digital Comic book which you can read or you can have it read to you.The movie is great. I highly recomend it.

Summary: boo, hiss! SAVE YOUR DOSH!
Review: This is the worst Disney title since The Black Cauldron. Straight-to-video! Should be straight-to-bin in our opinion. Wasn't funny, wasn't like Toy Story and wasn't worth the money. No real extras on the DVD and a miserable release. Was rotten. Don't sped your hard-earned cash on this nonsence!

Summary: 1 star is too much for this DVD!
Review: My children were bitterly disappointed by this film. It may as well not be Buzz Lightyear since it's animation not computer animation which was so good about the Toy Story films. NOTHING in this title lived up to the other Toy Story features and my 4 year old cried because this was supposed to be a birthday present. He didn't get most of the jokes (which are pitched at the adults suffering the film while kiddies watch)and the VIOLENCE WAS TERRIBLE! What the heck is the matter with Disney?! My advice - AVOID THIS TITLE and save your money for the 3 dvd set in October! Shame on you, Disney. Family company?! I don't think so - I'm shocked. We hate the film.

Summary: Not quite Toy Story but can hold its own.
Review: I pretty much knew from the cover this wouldn't be as good as Toy Story. After all, it was not the high quality computer animation we come to expect from a Toy Story movie. It didn't even seem to be the high qulity regular animation Disney usual throws at us on the big screen. Most people will be disappointed in this movie because of this lack of quality, but what do you want from a direct-to-video product? Don't you think if Disney/Pixar put as much time and effort into this product as they did TS and TS2 they would have put it in theaters?

By all means, do not overestimate this movie but give it a shot. My son loves the two Toy Story movies and loved this one too. We rented it first (always a good idea) but from his reaction, I bought it for his upcoming birthday. He didn't expect high quality, Oscar winning film with a thought provoking plot. He expected Buzz Lightyear, which he got. And much to our delight, we also received cameos from most of the Toy Story crew in a pre-movie skit.

Basically, this is a kids movie. Yes adults and children all loved the Toy Story movies but we adults will just have to wait for a 3rd installment. So from a child's perspective I gave this a 4 star rating. I hope other parents will realize that kids will love this movie even if they themselves don't.

Summary: Intergalactic Cartoon Fun
Review: The Pixar toy that we've all come to love and quote ("to infinity and beyond") is in rare form in this movie-length cartoon. The Space Rangers are faced with saving the universe when a diabolical force steals the unimind from the little green men (LGMs). This movie is action-packed fun for the whole family. Granted the adults will see the plot unfold before it happens on the screen, but the writing is done well enough to enjoy it anyway. This is a keeper.

Summary: Awful--makes Saturday cartoons look like masterpieces!
Review: If you liked Toy Story or Toy Story 2, don't buy this tape, it stinks! I'm really upset to be out the price of the video, as I would mostly like to trash the thing and feel awkward about passing it on as anything more than bio-degradeable garbage. No story line, no characters, makes the use of multi-dimensional Disney characters for selling toys, books and clothing look praiseworthy by comparison! I couldn't wait to get it out of the video player and hide it so that it can never be found again. If this is the best Disney can do with direct to video animation, I'm giving up on Disney too. ENOUGH already with the cheap crap--I'm going to have to start reading cartoon reviews to protect my family from wasting our all too precious and minimal time together--there's no reason to pay good money to rent or buy stuff like this. Even the commercials on TV that interrupt the Saturday cartoons are more interesting than this junk!

Summary: I liiked it. I really liked it.
Review: I liked this movie. True, the animation was ordinary but, the humor anything but ordinary. Tim Allen does a great job as Buzz and his supporting cast is just as good. This video is much better than a lot of the cartoons that are on television right now. It's funny and it's smart. Don't let the disappointing graphics fool you, this is a great video.
