Summary: The most magical movie I had ever seen
Review: When I was four the movie was release in theaters. My Mom took me to see it and I just remember thinking it was the best movie ever. I think most women my age 18-21 would say that this was their favorite movie as a little girl. It had music, magic, and a princess we loved and adored. It was truly everything a four year old could ask for in a movie. I really can not watch this movie without a sentimental viewpoint. My favorite character was Ariel and I loved how fiesty she was. Many girls my age tried to use a "dinglehopper" and brush their hair. I just think that if I had a little girl I would love to watch it with her and experience the magic of it all over again.

Summary: the best movie ever!
Review: We used to own a copy of Disney's The Little Mermaid when my little boy was 5, he eventually wore it out completely and we had to get rid of it. Sadly, the movie hasn't been on print except for a recent DVD release, but the price was a bit too much for us so we decided to rent the library copy. Although this one was almost as worn out as our own, my son enjoys this movie everytime he watches it and is now patiently waiting for a future DVD release. A must have for anyone who enjoys a good children's film.

Summary: Ariel's awesome!
Review: I was just a kid when this movie first came to video, and I have fond memories of watching it every day with one of my cousins for about a month. Because of the good memories, I bought the DVD recently. I was not disappointed. The music is well-written and enhances the action while adding a Carribbean flavor. The animation is classic Disney hand-drawn, before the days of computers, but still very well-done and very realistic.
