Summary: really funny good movie from a 15 year old viewer
Review: I thought the movie was great overall and i am 15 years old. My friend saw it with his little sister and told me it was good so i watched my brothers copy. James "Sully" Sullivan (John Goodman) and Mike Waczoski(Billy Cristal)were hilarious as monsters. My friends and I found the two teenage interns as histarical. The other "baby" monsters were funny especially the one who continually yelled "Mike Waczoski!". The character "Boo" touched me...i dont know why. But the strangest thing about it was after i saw the movie and the happy ending (viewers know what im talking about)i was still sad. Perhaps it was how Boo was taken away from before, i dunno. Anyway buy the movie its great! The special features are cool too!

Summary: Good Film
Review: Monsters, Inc. is a good film. The DVD however lacks special features that other DVD's have. When you play the movie there is an option of Widescreen and Fullscreen so that is nice. I watched it in Widescreen. This film is great for kids and even adults. The movie is funny. If you liked Toy Story or Toy Story 2 you MUST see this movie.

Summary: Fun & Clever
Review: * The Disney / Pixar MONSTERS INC takes as its fundamental
premise that children's "closet monsters" are for real.
They all come from a place named Monster City and pass
through magic doors, which are stored in a huge warehouse
and fetched by an automated retrieval system, to cause
kids to scream. The screams are used as a power source
to keep Monster City running.

The whole energy operation is run by Monsters INC, whose
"top scarer" is Sully (voiced by John Goodman), a big furry
monster type, assisted by his sidekick Mike
(voiced by Billy Crystal), who's sort of a walking eyeball.
They have to deal with Randall, who looks like a six-legged
chameleon, has a weasel personality, and will do *anything*
to become top scarer himself.

Then one day Sully visits a little girl who finds him more
cute than scary, and the girl jumps on his back when he
goes back through the magic door to return to Monster
City. This creates an immense potential problem, since

kids are regarded for some unexplained and unjustified
reason as toxic hazards, and any contamination
has to be dealt with drastically. Mike and Sully
have to figure out what to do with "Boo", as Sully names
the little girl, to get her back home and not end up
locked in quarantine.

OK, the whole story is just complete silliness and a
pretext for a lot of running-around and comedy. The
script is amusing, if not exactly memorable, but what
really propels MONSTERS INC is the computer animation,
which is not only well-done but has an almost endless
stream of little fun details. My favorite is Mike's
girlfriend, who has snakes for hair -- the snakes
actually have personalities of their own. Another fun
bit is a "virtual reality" roller-coaster ride through the
automated warehouse.

In short, this is a fun movie for kids, as well as
adults who don't take themselves too seriously.
The script by itself might not win any Oscars, but there's
so many amusing details that I think I could watch it
again and pick up new things the second time
around.
