Summary: The Movie For EVERYBODY
Review: Well, if you haven't seen Finding Nemo yet, I'll fill you in:
Marlin, a paranoid, afraid, overly concerned, clownfish has one son, Nemo. Marlin's wife, Coral, was eaten by a shark, thus fueling some of Marlin's afraidness. Nemo is adventurous, but is often controlled by his father. On Nemo's first day at school he is captured by divers out at sea, and his father goes on a frantic, all out search devoted to Finding Nemo. Along the way, he meets Dory, a forgetful, hilarious, cool fish. She provides much of the comic relief that this movie needs. All of the characters learn life lessons, but more importantly, a family is remade in the end.
This movie is magic, the animation amazing, the voice actors superb, including Ellen DeGeneres, Willem DaFoe, Andrew Stanton (a movie producer showing up as a "dude" turtle) Alison Janney, Albert Brooks, Brad Garret, whew, I'm tired.
In case you are wondering, this movie is for Everyone! Gangsters, punks, and 3 year olds can all enjoy this movie. Do yourself a favor and buy it. Just keep swimming, just keep swimming...

Summary: Pixarious and cheesarious...
Review: Usually i stay a safe distance away from anything to do with Disney and the main reason i decided to give 2 hours to Nemo was for being curious about how far Pixar technology has gotten (the last i had watched coming from them was Toy Story).

I was expecting to drown in cheesiness and cleancutness to be frank, and yes to a certain degree that did happen but not to a level where i had to resort to fast-forward techniques.

Technically speaking "Finding Nemo" is a masterpiece. The animation is truly spectacular and this technology is probably the closest we've come to 3-D-ness in that respect. I don't know how further it can be taken but this is really convincing stuff.

Now, this aside, the sad thing is that this technology is in the hands of Disney and that in turn means scripts with the cheese oozing like nuclear waste through the orifices of your TV set. If you're not cheese-proof that can be quite a test to go through unless you like watching your films with a puke-bag handy. But i imagine most people don't allthough i imagine lots of things that sadly don't apply to this world.

Whatever the case, "Finding Nemo" does have moments of brilliant humor, in fact more such moments than you'd expect it to. Plausibility in the story isn't an issue (fish talk, and have human psychological issues, so i guess plausibility goes out the window all the way) so he only thing that remains is whether you can laugh your way through this.

The verdict is you'll laugh quite a lot of the way, but the sudden cheese attacks will function like surprise cold showers.
Still though, when it hits its target, "Finding Nemo" is great and thus reccomendable even if it needs to be taken with a (sizey) pinch of salt.

Made to fit somewhere in that grey area where it can be accepted by both adults and kids it struggles to keep that balance at points but does well in the long run.

Summary: Andrew Stanton is the producer and my hero
Review: The reason I like this movie is that the animation and the producers and the directors. Andrew is my hero because the movie Finding Nemo made me want to work at Pixar just like he does. In fact I made a movie, well I wrote a script for a movie that I am going to make at Pixar. It's called Saving Kaiko it's 10% Finding Nemo and 100% The Lion King. Back to the movie, I also liked this movie because it got an academy award for best animation and it is known to be the best Pixar movie in Pixar history.

Summary: Huh?
Review: I rented this because of all the good things I heard about it. I loved the Toy Story movies and Monsters, Inc. but I didn't see the big deal with this one.

Also, while watching this I realized that every disney cartoon or 3D animation movie, the main character only has one parent. They either die or just aren't there. In some there are even none. The only movie I can think of that doesn't fit this is 101 dalmations, but that kinda had to work.

Summary: Hmm...
Review: Animation is superb, but the story did not work in some places even with the necessary suspension of disbelief.

Summary: Fishy Fun
Review: This movie is the cutest one I have seen yet from Disney. They usually outdo themselves with each new movie, but this one will not be outdone for a long time.

Nemo is a little clownfish who lives in the shadow of his overprotective father, whose antics get Nemo into big trouble. Nemo's mother was shown in the very beginning of the movie, but tragically is eaten by a barracuda. Because of this, Nemo's father, Marlin, is overprotective, and therefore is afraid of the ocean. In the end, the viewer has seen Nemo's father search the entire Atlantic ocean for him, hence the name "Finding Nemo". On his way, he meets many other beings such as sharks and jellyfish, and 'befriends' a very forgetful fish. The father overcomes his fear of the ocean, and life returns to normalcy when Nemo returns home from Sydney, Australia, after living in a fish tank in a dentist's office for about three days.

It's a very heart-warming movie, and even though I'm not a little kid, I enjoyed the movie so much I watched it about 3 times in the first week of owning it! A wonderful job by Disney!

Summary: Pixar does it again!
Review: If you liked all of Pixar's previous movies (Toy Story, Toy Story 2, A Bug's Life, Monster's Inc)then you'll love Finding Nemo. This movie has everything from adventure and drama to comedy. All the characters are well thought out; the story is extremely well written; the graphics are astonishing, and the DVD has so many extra features you'll be entertained for hours. If you don't have a fish tank try their virtual aquarium and see what it would be like to have one. Or, look at all the beautiful original artwork for the film. Don't forget to play the intro before the movie!
This movie is tons of fun for kids and adults alike. If you have a buding artist in your home this DVD is perfect for them. This is definitely a must have!

Summary: Great family film
Review: Visually this is the best and the story is real heart felt. My personal animated favorites are still Little Mermaid and Alladin but this is right up there. Lot's of fun extras on the dvd for kids. Voices are done great and I liked this better than Toy Story 1/2.

Summary: Never Gets old
Review: This is a great movie, my daughter watches it nearly every night (until she falls asleep). If you're looking for more - I'd recommend some of the IMAX films about the ocean - including Coral Reef Adventure -- and another interesting DVD - Captain Jon Explores the Ocean - both available on Amazon.
