Summary: Poor Transfer
Review: This film was victimized by a poor transfer to DVD. Caveat Emptor

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: One of the best movies.
Review: This is a great fun movie. It's got everything. Bill Campbell plays an excellent hero and Timothy Dalton does his best work ever. A very original storyline with an exciting plot. This movie never stops and you'll enjoy every minute of it. This movie deserves the five star rating. It's a great movie you can watch over and over again.

Summary: The Rocketeer Rocks
Review: This is one of the truly underrated films of the 90's. It flailed at the box-office under the weight of T-2, but it's a great film. Up there with the Indy trilogy for action FX and style, not to be missed. Jennifer Connely is a total megababe and Timothy Dalton is a wonderful bad-guy.

Summary: High Flying to a Point
Review: Well, what can I say? Bill Campbell did a great job, and I loved the character of Pee Wee, but it needed more. The fight at the end was exciting, and overall the plot was original and appealing, but it seems like there would be more to-do about such a Nazi ordeal. But naturally the good guy gets his girl in the end. Nice supporting cast.

Summary: A soaring good time!
Review: This film leaves you craving for more. You will cheer as the "Feds" and the gansters team up to fight the nazis. Timothy Dalton plays an Erol Flynn type character to the hilt. I've watched this movie several times over and still crave more. Disney, who released this film in 1991 should definitley follow this baby up. The potential for serialization or sequels here is big, big, big!

Summary: A great movie with a great cast.
Review: Disney didn't know what they had when the released the Rocketeer. It was sandwiched between Terminator 2 and Robin Hood:Prince of Theives for it's opening weekend. Too bad, because an earlier or later release would have given this movie the commercial credit it deserves. If Disney would have released it in 1999, The Rocketeer most certainly would have been considered as a syndicated series, maybe even ABC primetime. It was that fun for me. And pay attention to the soundtrack. The score has been used for dozens of Disney movie trailers since 1991.

Summary: A very good movie.
Review: What makes the Rocketeer so good is that it manages to capture that same Saturday-matinee serial feel that the Indian Jones films did. The one scene that still makes me cheer is when the gangsters and the FBI fight the Nazis together. Ah, American teamwork.

Summary: The 30's comes back to life!
Review: It's a shame this stunning film dosen't get more recogniton. It has a entertaining, almost believable story about a man who discovers a rocket that makes him fly-but men that a working for a Nazi spy want it too. The reason I love it is because it relies more on characters and a storyline than a lot a action and overloaded special effects balleyhoo. It left SUCH a big impression on me when it first came out in '91(I was ten.) I wanted to be Jennifer Connely's character so badly! Now when I look back at her, 7 years later, her character seems a bit of a pushover but the more I watch it she shows more spunk and uses her "weak femaleness" to trick Timothy Dalton(Neville Sinclair). Sure the movie can seem too "talky" at times, but thegood parts are worth waiting for. The ballroom scene, blimp scene, and Jenny's kidnapping alone a worth waiting for. One of my all time favorites. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND IT!!! People, type The Rocketeer in your video word search!
