Summary: Best Movie All Year!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: I was wanting to read the book because everybody that has read it said it was good. I couldn't because it was at my grade level it was too low. Then I heard the movie was coming out so I was excited. Then time came around to see the movie, but it didn't come at my theater. Then a week later it came. I went to see the day later I heard it came out. It was a wonderfl movie. I just read the book. The only diffrence is Stanley Yelnats was fat, but in the movie he was skinny.

Summary: Aha HA it is possible!!!!!
Review: It is now known to make a book movie tranaction that stuck to the books! Although I don't think that that kid should've played Stanley. Stanley was rather large in the book. But nothing is perfect. Aw well this was a prime example of book to movie transaction.

Summary: Great Movie and book
Review: I advise everyone that has read the book to watch this movie. I thought that the movie was all going to be different then the book then when I went to go see it it was all the same as the book..I have to say that was probably the greatest performance that Shia and Khleo have done on the big screen...I am going to first in line to get this movie..I seen the movie the first day it came out the first one in line too...The movie is excatly like the book and so I don't think I need to tell you people what it is about...But this movie is the kids movie of the year..Then the song that the D-tent Boys sing is really good...Befoe the boy went out into the desert they had to go through a 2 week boot camp..So they could get use to diging holes..and all that good stuff..Holes is my favortie book so I think all you that loved/liked the book will like the movie to..

Summary: The D - Tent Boys
Review: Not only was the book great, but the movie was just as marvelous as well. If you enjoyed the book, wait till you see the movie! This movie gives you a you a hint on what it was really like through thoses days on Camp Greenlake. The actors were also fabulous in their roles. The unlucky Stanley( Shia LeBouf), the adorable Zero (Khleo Thomas), the bad boys X-Ray and Squid( Brenden Jefferson and Jake), the smelly Armpit(Byron Cotton), the crazy Zig Zag(Max Kasch), and the theif Magnet(Miguel Castro). Together, these boys became D-Tent! (They also did well in their ver own song, "Dig It" So buy the soundtrack as well!) This was also heart-warming. Stanley finds his very first and true friend, he also learns more about himself, and much more! If I could give this 100 stars, I would! But, since I could go up to five, FIVE STARS! I "Dig It" a lot! Yeah!

Review: This movie was so good! The actors all did a really good job with their parts. I especially like Zero. He's hot, man! I mean REALLY HOT! He's just soo cute! They have a really good song "Dig It" Zero has a really good and cute singing voice! I hope to buy the DVD when it comes out September 23rd! I really do! Then I can pause it when they show close-ups of Zero! Zig-Zag is cool too. He's my next favorite character! This was the best movie of the year!!

Summary: I "dug" this movie!
Review: When I read the book I loved it!! So, naturally, I wanted to see the movie. So far I have seen it four times. This movie rocks!!! Not only did it stay close to the book, but the acting in it was amazing. Everyone did such a good job. (I, personally liked Zero the best. He is so talented, not to mention HOT ;)) I would recomend this movie. It is one that the whole family can enjoy. (Although I have found that older teenagers find it "childish.")

Summary: Khleo & Shia
Review: Khleo Thomas (Zero) & Shia LaBeouf (Stanley Yelnats) made a wonderful team in Holes. Khleo played the part of Zero absolutely perfectly! Shia LaBeouf would have been my #1 choice for Stanley. They're a great team and friends on and off the set. They're wonderful, beautiful, talented, one-of-a-kind young men. They're are #1 in my heart, right next to Holes!

Summary: The First Rule Of Holes: When You're In One, Stop Digging
Review: Shia La Beuff [star of the T.V. series Even Stevens, as well as the star in at least 2 other Disney movies, and a antagonist in yet another Disney movie] plays a character who, by destiny, is faulsely accused for stealing a donated pair of sneakers for an orphan. Stanly, Shia's character, is a fan of the person who signed the sneakers but for the robbery becomes "no fan of" the celebrity. The judge sentences Stanly to a choice of jail or a stay at Camp Greenlake to improove his ways. Obviously camp is a gimmie so he ends up digging 5 foot holes per day in a desert infested with rattle snakes and lethal yellow lizards. During the movie you get flash backs piece by piece of how the family curse came about and about the link to a treasure (The reason The Warden wants all those holes). The curse is a beyond awkward tale of one of Stanly's ancestors falling in love with a girl, but the girl couldn't decide over the young, handsome man that she loved or the arranged marrige to a bloated, sloppy man that she didn't love, so he was outraged and broke a promise of his to a fortune teller. The story of the treasure is about a cowgirl who taught an adult reading class (all men) in which all of her students wanted to go out with her. She rejected one of them who eventually caught her making out with a black onion seller [there was racism at the time period] and got the onion seller shot. Be sure to pay super close attention to EVERY word of diologue [even names!] and EVERY action! See the movie twice if you aren't sharp to catch everything.

Summary: Great movie THAT STUCK TO THE BOOK!!!
Review: I read holes in 6th grade for a book report and i loved it. so when i heard they were making a movie, i was like"cool". I saw this movie in theatres a couple weeks ago, and it was fantastic. It actually stuck to the book unlike some book-made-movies. *coughs*harry potter* The one thing i noticed wrong about it was that Stanley in the book was chubby, yet his movie portayal was not. Overall, it was an outstanding movie.
