Summary: Unparalleled
Review: This motion picture is quite simply the greatest animated feature of all time. It is the only animated feature to be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture, and for several very good reasons: A sublime story line, wonderful characters, stunning animation and one of the best musical scores ever written for the screen. It begins with a prologue magically told through the use of stain-glassed windows. The main plot involves an odd, but beautiful small-town girl (Belle) who wants to escape her drab existence, to only find her wish come true by being imprisoned by the Beast in a nearby enchanted castle. However, the most intriguing character is the boastful and arrogant Gaston, who is willing to do anything to gain what he cannot have -- Belle. The Disney studios pulled out all the stops for this one and it certainly shows. An absolute joy from beginning to end.

Review: Yes! This is one of the most beautiful movies I have ever seen. It really touched my heart, even though I not a very sentimental person. You could say it made me think in a different way, and that's pretty good for a movie I believe.

Summary: The Music Stands Out.
Review: In my mind the best Disney to date. The soundtrack from the last seven Disney films has been excellent... This started with The Little Mermaid and peaked with Beauty and the Beast. Aladin and The Lion King are also stunning. I think from then on has been less memorable and yet still of a high standard. If you're in the right mood then it's worth a watch.

Summary: A meticulously made movie with an enthralling plot
Review: This movie is one of the best Disney movies I have ever seen. The animation and the music score are magnificent. If you have never seen a Disney movie before, Beauty and the Beast should be one of the few you should start with. The landscape scenes in the movie are very realistic considering that this movie does not involve as much computer animation as those produced nowadays. One can surely see the time and hard work invested into this movie by the group of talented artists and musicians. Overall, this movie is simply wonderful.

Summary: Another great animated feature from Disney
Review: Well, Disney has done it again. There is no question that the masters of animation has been, and always will be the ones working at Disney. I've always been a fan of the animated works of Disney, and what they have accomplished in this movie, is just great. Nicely animated, blended in with some really nice computer generated scenery. The story itself is a real good "old" one. The nonchalant prince blows away an old lady at the castle gate. And that was a big mistake. Because what the prince didn't know, was that this old woman was a vicious witch. After being treated the way she was, she puts a curse on the prince, and his castle, making him into a beast, and all of his staff into furniture and other household items. And this curse has a set time limit. If the prince is unable to find the love of his life, he risks being trapped inside the body of the beast for the rest of his life. And so the story continous into what I think is the best Disney animation of modern time. So if you like animated films, get this one. You won't be dissapointed, that's a promise...

Review: walt disney would turn over in his grave at the terrible transformation of his classical animated cartoon format. the drawings, animation and dialogue are not disney. someone is obviously trying to recreate disney into another dimension, with little success i might add. all disney productions of late reflect this error in judjment. the classical style that disney created will pass the test of time. the new format will not.

Review: La bella y la bestia es mi pelicula favorita. Cada vez que lo veo, no puedo cesar de cantar con las personajes. La musica es maravillosa, y tambien tengo el soundtrack en espanol, el cual eschucho casi cada dia.
