Summary: the almighty buck
Review: OK, my 3 year old likes it. But anyone over age 10 will notice glaring differences between the original Lilo and Stitch and Stitch the Movie. The lack of effort and emphasis on the backgrounds of the scene are obvious. While L&S had lush, detailed beautiful scenes of Hawaii, these backgrounds provide the bare minimum in background graphics and detail. It looks like they hacked it out as fast as possible. The fact that the production crew was different from the first graphics production crew is also obvious because there is a different feel to the style. The music track is perfunctory. I recommend that you check it out from a store before you spend $20 on it. I wish I had.

Summary: So sad
Review: I love Lilo and Stitch. I don't even mind that my 2 year old has watched it almost every day for the last 6 months. That's why this pathetic, rushed and careless sequel makes me so sad. The animation is third rate, the voices actors sound bored and diretor-less and the script falls flat- relying on catch phrases and noises from the first movie. I kept waiting for the Scoobie Doo soundtrack to start. My daughter cried and said "but I want my Lilo and Stitch". Yeah, me too.

Summary: As flawed as Experiment 625.
Review: I loved the first Stitch movie. I was actually disappointed at it's loss to Spirited Away for the best animated film of the year. I understood it's loss however. This movie is almost without any merit. "Almost" only being included because the first 30 minutes or so I remained hopeful. This movie, though not on par with the original, could still manage to be entertaining and fun. I was horribly wrong. Stitch has gone the way of Pokemon' with each of his previous siblings holding special powers. I know the Asian creative team had alot to do with this. The movie exists simply to plug the upcoming television show and for a mere 20 dollars or so we are given the honorable priviledge to view this 90 minute commericial. Like all Disney DVDs it is riddled with Disney promotions prior to watching the film and it is insulting they are woven throughout the feature also. This guerilla marketing is shameless and I'm beyond disappointed. Watch the first movie and don't touch this one.

Summary: BAD ENDING
Review: The ending seems unfinished. After watching the whole movie you expect to see some of the 'cousins' - but you don't ! When the movie ends you are still waiting for more....I guess they want you to buy all the upcoming ones. But if all the upcoming ones end like this - don't waste you money. We expected better.

Summary: What a big disappointment
Review: Anyone over the age of 8 will probably find this movie to be a big disappointment. Lilo & Stitch was so good, and original, that this was the first Disney sequel I was actually looking forward to. Unfortunately, Stitch the Movie illustrates everything that is wrong with made-for-TV animation. The writing was aimed no higher than 6 year olds, with every little plot point spelled out, by a character who has no knowledge of the subject. In some scenes the character sizes are way off model. They couldn't even keep the workings of the "gumball machine" consistent from scene to scene. The only new character in this movie is the head villain, who's voice is a direct rip-off of the French taunter from Monty Python's Holy Grail. After two sentences, the joke is old, and there's still 63 minutes of movie remaining. ...

Summary: Not as good as the 1st, but my 3 yr old will still love it
Review: My 3 year old daughter has a bunch of dvds that she watches over and over again, and I'm sure that Stitch! The Movie will be one of them.

Once in a while I'll watch a dvd with my daughter and I certainly am still entertained each time I see the original Lilo & Stitch, Monsters Inc., Toy Story, Mulan, etc.

But I have to admit watching Stitch! The Movie one time was enough for me. The story just isn't that good and I just didn't care when I heard "nobody gets left behind or forgotten" in the sequel. I guess the writers were told to find a place in the movie to recycle some of the lines that came off as emotional and meaningful from the original. Maybe they should have concentrated on coming up with some new lines to be memorable for this film.

I like the way the french knights taunt the english ones in Monty Python and the Holy Grail, but when Dr. Hamster Wheel (the villain in this sequel) sounds just like one of the french knights, it just does not come off sounding funny.

There are a lot of good characters in this series, and the premise of the plot is not that bad. I guess they just needed better writers, editors or something to make it work.

If you are an adult without children and liked the original, I would suggest renting this one first, because you might not be entertained enough for the purchase price. But if you have kids and they liked the first one, go ahead and buy it because your kids will probably watch it over and over again.

Summary: The ending stinks
Review: Every part of the movie was sorta great, but the ending stinks, it doesnt even show all of Stitches cousins in the movie, i thought it would be better, but I guess I was wrong.
