Summary: Beyond Amazing. A Must See!!
Review: Newsies has become one of my favorite musicals of all time. It was wonderfully casted and directed. The performances given by the actors with the large and small parts was marvelous. You could tell how much everyone put into this musical. It made me fall in "love" with Christian Bale all over again. I recommend it for anyone who loves musicals. I gurantee you will like this one.

Summary: A musical with chutzpah!
Review: I have seen this movie over and over and am never sick of it. The actors' performances are outstanding, and it helps that their characters are very interesting and colourful (especially Racetrack, Jack Kelly, and Crutchy). The music and choreography are amazing, my favourite numbers are "King of New York" and "Sieze the Day". What's more, it's got history backing it up (it's based on actual events). If you haven't seen this yet, you have no idea what you're missing!

Summary: A Closet Newsies fan no longer--It's a family cult classic!
Review: I saw this film four times at the theater(three of those time by my self because the film was receiving such poor reviews at the time,no one would go with me)The acting was marginal, the songs were corny, but I kept comming back for more. When the film was relased to video, I would sheepishly present it to the blockbuster clerk and explain how I was renting it for my "kid sister" or "grandmother" then hurry home and watch it twice in a row. I am now prepared to "come out" to the world and proclaim..."I love Newsies!" This film just has that certain as the french would say, "I don't know what", Somehow, the cheezy songs,poor acting,and downright bloopers, all fall into place to produce a wonderfully magical film. View this film, you may just find your self cheering those kids on in spite of your self!

Review: NEWSIES is the best musical I've seen in years! Well, except for Grease! I think they are tied! It's such an awesome movie! And Jack Kelly is hot! A must-see!!!

Summary: Outstanding preformances and spectacular story!!!
Review: This movie is outstanding! The cast is amazing especially Spot Conlon and Jack Kelly. The dances were great and all of the songs were fun and full of passion. I love how it was based on actual events because that makes it so much more fun to watch. You watch the actors preform with such passion and conviction and in the back of your mind that that was once real. Truly a masterpiece for all ages!!!

Review: Newsies is a wonderful movie. My friends and I have watched this movie many times and have grown to love it. The actors did a wonderful job with their parts. I loved how some names were actual names of newsies during the real strike. The songs were all sung well. My particular favorites were "Carryin Da Banner", "King of New York", and "Santa Fe". Review: Newsies is the best musical I have ever seen. Mostly because I dont like musicals all that much, but Disney had a way with this one of grabbing my attention, and holding it until the end. There is a little bit of action throughout. Especially with 2 strikes going on at once, as you will see if you watch the movie. There is a little bit of romance in it to. Considering it was supposed to be a drama instead of a musical, and "King of New York" only being added weeks before the movie was finished, I am pleased to say that I own this wonderful movie and I suggest everyone should have a copy.

Review: This movie is definatley my favorite. It shows a lot of people how popular child labor was in those times. The newsies are so great with their singing and dancing and it doesn't hurt them at all being as hot as they are!
