Review: Newsies ROCKS the world...and Spot Conlon, played by Gabriel Damon, makes the movie even better. =o) I'm in love with the movie, AND spot...If I were you, I'd watch it today. It might be the smartest thing you ever did. My live is newsies. It's the first thing I do in the morning, and the last at night. It rocks.

Review: This is an excelent movie. It shows how well men can sing, act and dance. I have loved it from the minute I saw it. I listen to it all of the time and I have gotten lots of other addicted to it also. It is an easily loved movie. I would reccommend it to anyone. Please, if you haven't seen this, please take the time and you will get addicted too!

Review: Newsies is a great movie, not only because it has cute guys in it, but also because it gives you the message to stand up for what you believe in. The dancing, while corny, is very good and the songs are really cool after you listen to them for awhile so I just want to say...I luv Newsies!

Review: I would just like to say that when i first saw Newsies, i fell in love with it! It is such a well-made movie and I think that whoever made the decision to stop releasing it should change their mind because I love it sooo much and I want to own it forever! IT IS SOOOOOOOOO GOOD!

Review: I really really liked this movie. Normally musicals are not my type of movie, but I really liked this one. I think that Christian Bale did an excelent job in the part. He is so cute in the movie! I would recommend this movie to anyone who is in need of a good musical.

Review: Newsies has been one of my favorite movies since I was little. I'm now 16 and I still enjoy watching it. My freinds love it as well. How could it have not been recieved well? Newsies is a definite winner in my book. Newsies combine humor with drama. The plot is a little corny but it is so lovable it's hard to mind. With names like Robert Duvall, Bill Pulman, Ann Margret and Christian Bale, Newsies is a great movie that is not to be missed!

Summary: A childhood favorite
Review: I have grown up with Newsies, it is one of the greatest movies ever known! I have the CD, and the tape, and I enjoy watching and listening to them over and over again. The movie is such a positive force that it just lifts up spirits. It is true that the cinematography is not the greatest, but it adds to the feeling of 19th century New York. The dancing is a bit corny, but you learn to love it, and as soon as you memorize the soundtrack, road trips are just not the same with out it.

Review: In a day and age when the movie musical has become completely animated, it's hard for an audience to accept a film like Newsies. Disney can wrangle such talent as Lea Salonga, Paige O'Hara, Angela Landsbury and the like, and yet they went with a cast of virtual unknowns to bring this story to life. The first time I saw it was in theaters. Disney ran a short promotional offer, go for "Beauty and the Beast" stay for "Newsies" and since I had nothing better to do that night, I stayed. Don't get me wrong, the movie is enjoyable and features a song or two you may find yourself whistling on the way out the door, but if you can generate the beauty of the ballroom like that scene in Beauty and the Beast, and people are knocking down your door to be a voice in one of your animated films....why try the live action bit? It doesn't make sense.

Summary: I luv it -i'm ticked cuz they stopped selling it
Review: i luv this movie, its one of my fave! it is totally uplifting and has a lot of cool dance moves and songs. It has a good plot and one of my favorite things is that even when the focus is not on the people in the background, they still play their part like it is. You can even hear conversations. Spot and Mush are heart wrencher guyz, race and crutchy rock--boots is a good dancer Les is a great actor, as well as davy and jack, and there are other guyz too. i like all of the songs to, especially sieze the day, king of new york, and carryin' the banner. All around, all of them are awesome--i love this movie, it is awesome, and i'm just mad because they stopped selling it and i can't find it anywhere, andi really want the movie. Its a classic, i would say.
