Review: I know that most of the reviews for this movie are going to be representing mostly teen and younger girls and the parents that went to watch the movie also; so I'm going to give a review from a different perspective. Yes, I represent the eighteen-year-old guy group that went and watched this movie. I'm sure we make up about .0000000000000000001 percent of the viewing audience.First of all, The Princess diaries was one of the dumbest movies I've ever seen. The writing was horrific, the acting isn't anything special, and I detested some of the supporting characters. The main thing I hated about the movie was how many scenes were contrived for Mandy Moore just to sell the soundtrack. I mean, her character wasn't even needed. All that said, the movie had its good points (or else it wouldn't have gotten 4 stars). It's kind of the movie equivalent of a kitten biting your toes. It's really annoying but kind of cute anyway. The target audience will love this movie. The movie also has some genuinely funny moments, and some of the dialogue is so cheesy it comes across as really funny. The funniest thing about the movie has got to be the "love interest" Michael's hair in the last scene. The main reason this movie succeeds is Anne Hathaway. What she lacks in acting, she makes up by being really hot. I mean it, she's gorgeous. Overall, this movie is entertaining and pretty painless.

Review: The Princess Diaries is about Mia Thermopolis a shy new-yorker who discover's that the father she never even knew was actually the genovien blood related family member of a royal heritage but sense his death her new found grandmother clarisse qeen of genovia is only royal by marriage & her mother is also royal by marriage but mia is royal by blood so it's up to her to choose to be princess of genovia or just a normal teenager.So the movie is a very funny comedic film that is really about a girl who goes to a path to self-discovery and finds out how it feels to actually be populer for the first time.

Review: Lana...Fontana. I loved this movie sooooooo much!!!! It is a movie you can watch with everyone!!!!! It's great. I loved Mandy Moore she was my favorite. The soundtrack is amazing!!! I would recommend anyone to see it but bring a cushion, it seemed like a long movie though

Summary: 2 Stars for the Pro: Julie Andrews
Review: "The Princess Diaries" is a mediocre film which is a shame because in it Julie Andrews makes her return to film after several years. Maybe she felt that Garry Marshall, the director of "Pretty Woman," could somehow elevate the very pedestrian material into something good. It doesn't happen but not without Ms. Andrews giving it her all. One of the problems is Anne Hathaway who lacks the acting chops but more detrimental than that is her toal lack of screen presence. With so many charasmatic teen actresses out and about...how did this happen?The story deals with the fairy-tale discovery by Hathaway that she is next in line, by way of her absent "royal" father, for the throne of a small european country now run by Julie Andrews who is it's queen. The story itself could have been a lot of fun but most of the movie is just charmless and dull. Even Heather Matarazzo so good in "Welcome to the Dollhouse" stares vacantly through the entire movie with her mouth slack probably amazed that she signed on to do this film. This is a major disappointment especially since Julie Andrews is involved. Where's Blake Edwards when we need him?

Summary: Charming, Funny, Sweet - - Simply Irresistible!
Review: This movie was absolutely wonderful! Julie Andrews was brilliantly cast as the grandmother version of Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady as she transforms her young granddaughter (Anne Hathaway) into a proper princess. When I went to see this movie for the first time I wasn't sure what to expect but the film was wonderful from beginning to end! Anne Hathaway and Julie Andrews both deliver stellar performances with perfect comic timing. The supporting cast is also great including Hector Elizondo - who almost steals the show as the charming security guard and driver. A fantastic movie definitely worth the price of admission!

Review: I have seen this movie twice on friday and again today with my parents this time. I am 40 years old, and loved this light hearted family fun movie. It made us laugh and smile, we were delighted to hear no bad language and see no dirty sex scenes or violence. It was a feel good movie for all ages ,and most of all well acted, directed and written. My parents loved it as much as I did, and we all thought Julie and cast was right on the mark with their characters.The childen in the audience at both showings rarely got up to go to the restrooms amazing or run off to the snack bar , they didn' talk loud through the movie as the usual par for a movie, and there was much laughter by a packed showing both times.When we left the theatre we felt happy and pleased- We were pleased to see a movie worth paying for, and they don't make many like this anymore sadly. It was well worth the money both times !

Review: Quite an unusual story line here. I can't say I've ever seen this idea before on the screen. A young girl is trying to survive high school when she finds out she's the only living heir to the throne of a country, and she must decide whether she wants to accept the title of Princess or not. Tough decision. Some really funny moments here. Best of all, a sweet love story is attached.
