Rating: Summary: Disney botches another DVD release Review: The trailers make "Max Keeble's Big Move" look like it could be a charming and enjoyable family comedy. But now I won't know, because Disney has decided to ignore a large portion of the DVD market, namely the people who established the format and buy more DVDs than any other group. Of course I'm referring to DVD customers who prefer to see the entire film the way it was made, in its theatrical aspect ratio. Instead of presenting "Max Keeble's Big Move" in 1.85:1 widescreen, as it was framed for and as the trailers show, Disney has decided to do a Fullscreen-only release. Well, Disney couldn't be more out of touch with their customer base, as they're losing the business of myself and several others who feel that films deserve respect to be seen in their proper ratio. I definitely would have rented it, which very well could have lead to a purchase, but instead, I'll pass this up for a family DVD that is presented in its proper ratio. It's a shame too, because Larry Miller is one funny man, and I looked forward to seeing Alex D. Linz's and Robert Carradine's performances. If you enjoyed this movie, I'd recommend holding off for a widescreen DVD release. If you didn't like it, then there's really no reason to consider renting or buying anyway. I really would love to buy this DVD, but Disney doesn't realize that Pan & Scan is fine and dandy for VHS, but not for DVDs, particularly when the future is clearly 16:9 widescreen television sets. If this release is indicative of Disney's Big Move in thinking that DVD customers want fullscreen, they'll be saving me (and many others I'm sure) a lot of money. I've got no problem with people who prefer to watch Movies in Fullscreen, but there is a major problem, when there is no choice given to the consumer, and we are unable to view a film in its original, unedited form.
Rating: Summary: Good Film. Review: They made a cracker jack film outt of this. Fine and dandy like sour candy! 4 and a half stars!!!
Rating: Summary: Max Keeble's Big Thanks Review: This is a great movie. Disney does it again, including with a great cast: Alex D. Linz, Larry Miller, Jamie Kennedy, Nora Dunn, and Robert Carradine. Director Tim Hill should make a sequel and call it "Max Keeble's Big Adventure" (also known as "Max Keeble II: Summer of Basketball Camp). It should be about when Max Keeble goes to Summer Basketball Camp with Robe & Megan (so you can play like the NBA and the WNBA), and bullies come and try to take over camp, so do that, and I'll give both the movies ***** (5 out of 5).
Rating: Summary: No Widescreen Review: This is only avalible in full screen. Its lack of a proper aspect ratio. Disney is totally ignorant in this issue. When disney decides to release this in its in 1.85 anamorphic widescreen then I will buy it.

When I saw this Disney movie I thought that Disney really put a comic gem in this one. I know if you take your kids to see it, the'll want to see it again and again! Rating: Summary: This Is Sooooooooooo Great!!!!!! Review: This movie is HALARIOUS!!!!!!!! This is one of the best non-animated Disney movies out there!!!! It's alot better than The Princess Diaries!!!!!!! I can't wait until it comes out on video. Or is it already out? Well, this a great comedy!!!!!!!! I would suggest this to any kid who LOVES comedies. Or even adults!!!!...
Rating: Summary: not the best Review: This was an good movie, but I've seen better. It was a little overdone with the evil ice cream man who has glowing red eyes sometimes, the bully who's afraid of a little kid show character, the moneymaking "businessman"(really a middle schooler,)and the success driven pricipal. It had it's funny parts and it's bad parts, but all in all in was an OK movie. Try it out.
