A movie that is loud, clumsy, empty-headed, totally unfunny, mean-spirited & full of moronic supporting characters; MAX KEEBLE will appeal only to the most simple-minded of children. Amazingly there are FOUR writers credited here! Their combined creative genius even sees the biggest cliche of high school movies trotted out yet again: that of the cafeteria food fight!
Although it isn't a complete travesty, MAX KEEBLE'S BIG MOVE is a film that belongs in the lower ranks of Disney productions. One that parents will be reluctant to suffer through with their kids. A shame considering it's directed by Tim Hill, whose previous film was MUPPETS FROM SPACE, which I consider to be THE best Muppet movie ever. You'd be better off watching that instead, or even one of the old classic Disney movies. (Especially if it's got Stella Stevens in it, in which case Dads will definitely want to watch it). Uncle Walt would not be impressed. Bring back Donald Duck!

Review: alex d linz one of the current best kid actors stars in this. this is very fuuny and enjoyable. we wish we could have taken on the bullies and mean teachres in school. some say its just for kids and that adults willl not enjoy it but i am 23 and loved it. i am also amajor alex d linz fan.

Summary: Best Movie For Kids In Ages!!
Review: As a single father struggling to raise three wonderful kids (two boys, ages 10 and 12, and one girl, age 8) -- especially in these troubling, uncertain times -- I'm always on the lookout for movies I can take them to that will a) entertain them; and b) have a positive message. There's enough negativity already in the world! Max Keeble, which I saw at a sneak preview last weekend, was a very pleasant surprise. Laugh-out-loud funny -- even for me! -- well-scripted, ably directed, and heartwarming. Bravo to all involved! I'd expect nothing less from Disney, but this movie is a rare treat. I urge everyone with kids to tkae them to see Max Keeble if they want an extremely entertaining movie, several cuts above the standard kid-aimed pap. It will be well worth your time!!

Review: Disney did it again, in a very funny way, didn't expect it to be, thought it would be another one of those pre-teen kidflicks but liked it very much, really. This one had its own twist of funny moments, a lot of it and most of all it is all very nicely done, gotta see it if like funny movies!

But all thats about to change. Max is moving! He seeks revenge on evil ice cream men, bullies, and even his stupid principle. In the trailor, the principle says, "Your a smart boy Max Keeble... But so am I!" Plus, pop's newest teen recording artist, Myra, who's current single "Miracles Happen" can be found on the soundtrack to "The Princess Diaries", has a role as one of the schools most popular girls! I can't wait to see it. Theres more info on this movie at Disney's web site!

Review: Funny, funny funny...Unrestrained junior academic high jinks that will have your 14 year old, (and not to mention, YOURSELF) sprinting violently out of the room and into the streets screaming loud uproarious praise for this once-in-a-lifetime masterpiece. This little jem of a purchase is a must for anyone
tired of the usual hollywood fair. The character of Mark is by far the biggest scene-stealer in this shining cast of adolescent thespians! I have seen the glorious future and it has a name : Hail Maximus Keeble!

Review: Having been in grade school a few years back, I remember the bullies and life as a short, thin kid... Max Keeble had my revenge! :)"Max Keeble's Big Move" enjoys the ingenuity of "Home Alone" for creating masterful pranks, though not as slap-stick. Not quite in the "Ferris Bueller" category, but appropriate for grade school kids. The message delivered will please parents, and remind them of how hard being in school can be. When Max comes to grips with his mistakes, he takes responsibility. And he discovers that friendship is a great foundation for love. You won't need Dolby for this one. And if it turns out you see it in a second-run theater or rent it, you'll do fine. But be sure to invite a bunch of kids who will hoot and holler through the gags. Summary: Fantastic! Witty! Hilarious!
Review: I agree with the other reviewers of this truly fun movie -- why wasn't it a hit? Maybe because it was released so close to September 11, people didn't want to let their kids go to the movies or something. In any case, Larry Miller's a scream, Zena Grey's adorable, and Josh Peck as Robe gives a breakout comic performance. The script's far wittier than usual family-film fare -- there's a number of jokes that must have gone right over the audience's heads, but there's enough kid-aimed humor to keep even the antsiest pre-teen in thrall. In sum: fabulous!
