Summary: Matthew does it again!
Review: First it was Ferris Buller, then Wargames, then Godzilla (which this movie spoofs a little bit), and now this! I loved the cartoon when I was a kid, and I'm 15 now and I loved the movie! There are a few things I would have done to make it better though.

1. No-No RoboGadget! Isn't it a little to early to have a mechanical twin? Get rid of RoboGadget.

2. Is That Gadget! For this I would have given Gadget his classic grey suit.

3. DOCTOR Claw! It's not "Just Claw, one word, like Madonna." it's "Dr. Claw, two words, like Dr. Evil."

4. Where's MAD! They could have squezed in MAD.

5. Where's The Mystery! They could have hidden Claw's face at least until the end.

6. Claw, Not Gripper Toy! They could have given Claw his classic claw.

7. Gadgetmobile! They could keep the talking car, but they could have made it the classic Gadgetvan-transform-into-Gadgetmobile.

8. Keep the original names! I caught different names for most of his gadgets. Examples: Gadget Chopper (original name: Gadget Copter), Gadget Airbag (original name: Gadget Coat), Gadget Parasol (original name: Gadget Brella), Gadget Blades (original name: Gadget Skates), ect.

This was a very good movie with gadgets that we never seen before as well as the ones we have. Great job Disney!

Summary: DVD Beats Video; Plot Could Be Thicker...
Review: Even though I liked this movie, I did not enjoy it as much as I thought I would. It runs barely over an hour, whereas I was expecting a feature-length movie. Even so, I did eventually check my watch near the middle of the movie.

The comedic bits in the movie are worth seeing, especially with the Gadgetmobile. The credits are also worth it, as they are inturrupted from time to time. Perhaps the best special feature on the DVD is the Youngstown music video.

Summary: LACKS EVERYTHING A GOOD MOVIE CONTAINS
Review: there's is nothing more i can say about this absolutely pathetic, only for kids, movie than what's in the title. the actors seemed stiff, uninterested, and unemotional. rupert everett was absolutely horrible as dr. claw and broderick was the worst possible actor to be signed on as the crafty inspector we have all grown to love through the cartoon. the movie is based around a diabolical accident that forces a regular cop (broderick) to become a gadget-ridden man out to protect justice. basically the rest of this monotonous film includes crazy, "non" action sequencences, which build up to a "climatic" encounter with claw (everett). along the way, gadget falls in love with a scientist and receives useless advice from his "crackpot" daughter (michelle trachtenberg) and useless dog, brain! fine to see with the kids, but don't expect to savour it on a free saturday night.

Summary: Disney's DUD
Review: Matthew Broderick is the new weapon against crime in the disappointing fantasy comedy "Inspector Gadget". Dim-witted security guard John Brown (Matthew Broderick) becomes the unlikely recruit to become the city's newest crime-fighting weapon. Armed with unlimited and offbeat devices, Inspector Gadget must stop madman Claw (Rupert Everett) and earn the heart of a fellow scientist (Joely Fisher). "Inspector Gadget" is a poor and disappointing remake that only young audiences might find it entertaining. The special effects were amusing but can't compensate for movie's bad plot and weak acting. If you grew up watching the animated series, you may want to avoid this movie. Overall, the movie gets an "F".

Summary: Conry, fantasy family film.
Review: Matthew Brodeick is engaging in this special effects film as Inspector Gadget also as the another bad inspector robo gadget is very funny with these big teeth. Rupert Everett is good as the villain. Dabney Coleman reworking with Broderick before in the movie War Games in 1983.

Good design on the computer graphics effects, some of it incredible. It a short film, should have been longer. Grade:B.

Summary: Go go gadget...away please
Review: Sadly, I thought the movie was way too overblown, telling jokes that nobody really got and going off on its own little spindle while everybody scratches their heads and wonders just what's going on. Broderick tries his best to be Gadget but just falls flat, and Rupert Everett doesn't exactly make a novel Claw- I mean, didn't Claw hide his face in the original show! The story is scattershot, the good jokes are seldom (if you can find them), and the Yahoo! advertisement is dreadful (was it even needed?). Worse yet, the original Gadget voice, Don Adams, is wasted on a talking dog bit. And why does Gadget say, "Wowzer"? It's "Wowzers!" Not really that great a film, go see George of the Jungle instead. It's far better.

Summary: It's Cool
Review: I think that this film is really good although not everybody likes it. The actors were good.My only objection is that the guy with the claw did not laugh the way he should. I loved it!

Summary: Not true to the cartoon!
Review: One thing that really annoyed me about this film is that 'Doctor Claw' has a face! Anyone who's anyone knows that he was faceless in the cartoon. What's more, the film felt the need to explain how he got his claw. We don't need to know how he got the claw cos he's the bad guy.

Now that I've had my little rant and rave I'm gonna tell you about the dream sequence at the beginning. This sequence is so over the top it's good! Everything a dream would be. Saving the day while looking good. Plus, I like films that have a romantic interest sewing through the whole film. You know they end up, but it's good to keep the 'will they, won't they' scenario going for as long as possible cos that's the best part of romantic films. Look at 'Sleepless in Seattle' as an example, or, more recently, 'You've Got Mail.'

The kids will love this film. Hell! I liked this film and I'm coming on twenty. What I mean is that this film is perfect for the little ones while strong enough to keep an adult entertained as well.

Summary: Laugh.....I almost cried
Review: Just from the opening music, you know you're going to get something wacky and fun.

Matthew Broderick plays the character to perfection and Rupert Everett is deliciously hammy. Everybody else gives good perfomances too.

The movie was absolutely hysterical, with plenty of in jokes for the adults to appreciate. The gadget effects will keep the kids (and the adults) entertained.

Definitely one to see and own. Here's hoping for a sequel.

Summary: Go Go Gadget buy this one!
Review: What a fantastic film! It isn't the cartoon, in my opinion, it's better (maybe because the last time I saw the cartoon I was 5 1/2 years old). Matt Broderick, Rupert Everett, Joely Fisher, Michelle Trachenberg and all the rest was brilliant, the car was hilarious, the special effects seamless and the entire film a laugh fest. You'll have to be crazy to not like Inspector Gadget, each of the four times I've seen it, the cinema was packed with kids, teens (like myself), adults and grandparents all having a really great time! Buy this film!
