Summary: Surefire Family Entertainment -- A Must See!
Review: It is very rare that a movie has the ability to steal the hearts of both young and old. However, Director Nancy Meyer and Producer Charles Shyer have done exactly that. They, along with Disney pictures, have produced a remake of "The Parent Trap" which far surpasses the original. Who can ever forget Haley Mills' classic performace as twins Sharon and Susan in the original film. In the remake, the roles of the twins (now Hallie and Annie) are played by film newcomer Lindsay Lohan. Her performance is undoubtedly the strongest in the film. Her mastery of the dual roles is quite and achievment for an actress at the age of 12. With her red hair and freckled face, you can't help but to be won over by the twins as they hatch their plan to reunite their divorced parents. Playing the British mother is Natasha Richardson. The love, anxiousness and humor which are required by the script were all carried out flawlessly by Natasha. In the role of the father from Napa, CA is Dennis Quaid. A renowned actor, Quaid portrays the role of a man who is torn between a seductive publicist (Elaine Hendrix), an ex-wife (N. Richardson) and his daughters. The film is beautifully designed with breahtaking camera work, an enchanting original score by Alan Silvestri, as well as a fabulous ensemble. So for a movie which is sure to keep you laughing . . .and crying, be sure to view "The Parent Trap" today.

Summary: One of the best films ever!
Review: First...5 stars is NOT ENOUGH for this film. Let's face it, the remake of The Parent trap was bound to happen, and how can anything compare to the original , which also deserves 5 stars with Halley Mills? Well this film surpasses the original in almost every way. The acting, direction of this film is unbelievable! The film is so touching, it leaves you only wanting to experience it again! This film should be nominated for best picture, director, actress, (Lindsay Lohan steals the film!), music, and special efects. If you liked the first one, this film is even better! It is on my top 5 list of films of all time! What else can I say for a wonderful film, that is so very funny, truly a masterpiece, and by far the best Disney film since ever made.

Summary: cute, hyper, fun, and GREAT
Review: I could never get sick of this movie! I watched it 4 times in 2 days! It is great! It is spirited and fun for all ages. My question is, is the nanny's name Chessie, or Jessie???? ILOVE THE PARENT TRAP! TWO THUMBS UP (PLUS A COULPE FINGERS!)

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Bright, breezy movie deserves a second look
Review: I work in a movie theater, so I'm understandably wary of most movies. I saw "The Parent Trap" on a train, and it still stands out in my mind as one of the best Disney movies produced. It's not the most intellectual movie, but it's not required to be -- the lush camp setting, the wonderful London shots (though not on any drive I, as a former Londoner would care to take) and the beautiful Napa setting, plus the fantastic acting make this one much more than "just another Disney remake".

Summary: really funny!
Review: This movie was really good. I think everybody should have it in their collection. It was a really funny movie and the secret handshake was really groovey. I liked the part at the end when Martin the butler gets engaged to the nanny. This movie is just as good as the first one. The acting was good, so was the story. The only problem with it was that it was a really long movie. However, it is still good. I suggest you buy this one as soon as you can.

Summary: The most hilarious film we've ever seen!!!
Review: We think that The Parent Trap is just THE best film we have seen in a long time. Lindsay Lohan is aboslutely brilliant as Hallie and Annie. We have fallen in love with this film! The butler was excellent, and our fave bit was when the twins pushed the lilo out onto the lake! Now we can't wait for it to come out on video!!!

Summary: pretty good, funny movie. very well done.
Review: well, i thought who ever wrote that story is very good. the stunt scenes were really cool and well done. i also like how the same girl played both characters. it looked like a lot of fun to make that movie. i think that it was very realistic and it made me feel like that was really happening. and everyone was a very good actor in that movie. it seemed like everyone got the right parts that they are right for.

Summary: Awesome Flick !
Review: I saw this movie in the theaters because I'm a movieholic . I thought it was real good, and that's it. But then I fell in love with the musical "Cabaret", the new one, which stared Natasha Richardson . I went head over heels for her (dearly not quirly) and thought she was tremendous . Then I made my mom rent Parent Trap . I watched 4 times in the past three days and hope to buy it soon . It is prefectly marvelous ! Lindsy is great, Natasha's wonderful, Dennis is fun, and the buttler and nanny are beautiful ! Halirious and highly recomened !
