Review: I went to this movie not expecting to like it and came away laughing. So much better than I had thought it would be, and so much better than any other Muppet movie I had seen. How DO the creators think of so many cool things?? Hats off to their endless imagination!

Review: This is probably one of the most fun and clever Muppet movies. Well-written and very enjoyable music. Fozzie cracked me up non-stop and Kermit's duel with Long John was outstanding. A laugh a minute and excellent family fun.

Summary: Hilarious for the whole family
Review: My kids and I love this movie. The songs stay with you and the acting is good. Tim Curry is over the top, but it's appropriate for his character. The scene in which he foils his execution at the hands of rebellious pirates has us rolling every time: "You profaned the hooooly book!" As with the best Muppets movies, there are several levels of humor - the adults will get things the kids miss.Despite the fun and hijinks, the ending is genuinely touching. Even though the movie is fun, it forces you to consider the true meaning of friendship.

Summary: The worst Muppet movie
Review: I love THE MUPPETS but this movie isn't that good. It is my honest opinion that THE MUPPETS lost it after Jim Henson's tragic death in 1991. The Muppet Christmas Carol was pretty good but this isn't that great. It has some good puppetry techniques that the Muppets are famous for but it doesn't have the cleverness that the originals had.

Summary: Best Muppet movie
Review: This is one of my favorite movies. I love the songs and have memorized almost all of them. Squire Trelawny and Mr. Benbow are hilarious and so are the rats. My favorite character is Jim though. (note: in the review of the movie they put Billy. The boy's name is actually Jim Hawkins.)

Review: I love Muppet movies, but this has to be the best. I read Treasure Island, but this is sooooo much better. Long John Silver is the best, and, of course, Mr. Bimbo and Fozzie Bear are killer, too. The songs are great, especially "Cabin Fever." I didn't like the end, though. My class read this book, and me and my friend died laughing when we watched this movie. You can check out her review here, too. But you have to watch it to see what happens! This is a classic Muppet movie, so you should definitely get this movie.

Review: Oh, my gosh! This has to be the funniest movie I have ever seen. I watch it every day. The muppets are so funny, especially Clueless Morgan (it's no wonder he's called "clueless") and Fozzie Bear with Mr. Bimbo. Tim Curry makes a great Long John Silver. I love the way he laughs! My whole family loves this movie. I'm in sixth grade, and I loved it. Everyone should own the best Muppet movie ever made!!!

Review: This is a must have for Tim Curry fans and Muppet fans. The part I enjoy the most is the songs. The one I like the best if the first song Tim Curry sings. Tim Curry is a wonderful pirate! The only thing wrong with this movie is the ending. I don't like what happened to Tim Curry.

Summary: I Love This Movie!!
Review: My children and I laugh til it hurts every time we play this movie. And the characters are so funny. The bear with the little man living in his finger,and the goat (Clueless Morgan) have some of the funniest lines in the movie. And the part where the whole cast does "Cabin Fever" is hysterical! Both this and Muppet Christmas Carol are two of my family's favorite films. We go around our house singing the songs and saying the quotes. Brian Henson has both captured his father's creative spirit and vision. But, in my opinion, he has surpassed his father's filmmaking skill as shown by the sheer quality of the last two Muppet movies. I truly look forward to his next project.
