Summary: Definately not 'a bunch of 'Hocus Pocus'
Review: This is one of my favorite movies of all time, although it would probablly not be on my top ten list if I had seen it now, as I teenager, I loved it when I first saw it. I rented this movie for my one of my birthday parties, probablly a two or three years after it came out (my 7th or 8th birthday), and about 5 birthdays after that one. It soon became a classic, me, along with all myr friends, came to know it by heart. It also fit perfectlly with the time of year (my birthday is October 25th). I think that "Hocus Pocus" is the best non-horrific films of all time, and I would deffinately recommend it to anyone.

Summary: Funny and action-packed!!!
Review: Surprisingly this movie did terrible in the theatres, but it really does make an excellent television movie. The three witches were hilarious and very excitingly troublesome, as they seek revenge 300 years after their hanging after being resurrected. This is a wonderful halloween movie... may scare some of the very young kids... not my mischevious little girls, but parents may want to watch it first to see if it's not too much for their little ones. There are a few parts that I think are questionable. However, this may be the reason this movie bombed out, as 90% of it is more interesting for the very young kids... then the other 10% is a little too much (or too scary) for them. I would recommend parents to watch first, may be better for about 8 yrs and up... but may seem to childish to them.

Review: This movie is such a nice fantasy. To me it seemed more like a comedy, especially funny was Bette Midler! I also liked the song the blond "Witch" sang. They are so funny. I think this is a movie worth watching because it's funny and it has a great story line that it follows. The beggining of the movie was kind of sad but the rest of it is so funny. (Why did the "Witches" have to die?)

Summary: Hocus Pocus....The DVD I've been waiting for!!
Review: After quite a few Years, Walt Disney's "Hocus Pocus" has finally been released on DVD. I was quite disapointed to find that there are NO SPECIAL FEATURES, but with the DVD presented in Widescreen and 5:1 Dolby Surround sound, It almost makes up for it. (I can't believe they couldn't even include the Movie Trailer!) Common Disney, re-release this DVD again and include the Numorous Deleted scenes, like The Supermarket Sequence, The Swimming Pool Sequence, ect ect., and how about including the Documentary of the Making of the special effects of Hocus Pocus that was shown on the Dicovery Channel back in 1994? Common Disney, you can do better than this DVD!!!

Summary: A Classic Halloween Film!
Review: I got my Hocus Pocus DVD from Amazon today. Although, unfortunately, there are no extras on the disc. The picture is widescreen. This allows you to see more on the ends that are cut out on vhs's full screen format. The sound is fantastic 5.1 Surround Sound Dolby and, on my Bose system, it's wonderful. Bette's "I'll Put A Spell On You" and "Sarah's Theme" are so much more enhanced to hear. Also, Binx's shadow is the pointer to the menu. If you move Binx to the chapters, they are displayed on tombstones. It's about time we got it on dvd even if Disney didn't enhance it with Entertainment Tonight's Making of Hocus Pocus, that I saw just before the film came out, deleted scenes or even a trailer. The film is definitly 5 stars. Due to Disney's lack of support with any extras, Disney gets a 1 star for insensitivity to the fans. Nevertheless, buy it for the picture and sound.

Guided by an enchanted black cat Thakary Binx, the struggle is on as they embark on a journey to prevent the witches from gaining immortality until sunrise. A marvellous masterpiece by Kenny Ortega, 'Hocus Pocus' is jocular, fast-paced and frivolous, with plenty of sorcery and witchcraft to entertain a multitude of viewers, any audience, at any time. With superb antics and endearing, humorous themes, 'Hocus Pocus' is guaranteed to enchant its audience into a fantastical world, with the added bonus of 'dead man's toes' and 'rat tails', to ultimately cast its spell and make even the most sceptic viewer believe in the hocus pocus of Halloween night.

Review: The first time i saw this movie, i fell in luv with it!!! It is my favorite movie of all time! I think its soooo funny how the 3 witches, from the 1600's, are brought back to life in the 20'th century! I luv how they react to the firetruck, the bus, and the road (which they think is a black river), and the sprinklers when Max(Omri Katz) puts a lighter to it.(no, theres no smokeing in this movie) :> This is a very, very, very..., funny movie, and i watch it ALL THE TIME!!! I JUST LOVE IT!!!!!
And you won't be waisting your money. IT IS A GREAT MOVIE!!!
(i think i'll say that again!) IT IS A GREAT MOVIE!!! And i hope that someday they will have a sequel 2 it. And they need to make commercials saying that there will be a dvd coming out for it.

Summary: YES!! Finally it's coming out on DVD!
Review: I've already written a review for "Hocus Pocus", but I'm just here to say that I'm so happy that they are FINALLY releasing this movie out on DVD! It's one of my favorite Halloween movies--Sarah Jessica Parker and Bette Midler are especially great in this one! It's funny, spooky, and wacky all at the same time! They'd better make a good DVD...with lots of special features. I am definitely planning to pre-order my very own copy of the "Hocus Pocus" DVD as soon as I find out the special features that will be added to the DVD. If there are no special features, then I will just keep my VHS tape (okay...so perhaps I'll still buy the DVD!:). But anyway, if you love "Hocus Pocus", you'll definitely be glad to know that this Disney classic is finally coming out on DVD! Can't wait!!

Review: This movie starts off with young Thackary Bink in 17 century Salem.He and his younger twin sister Emily Binks whom is around 6 or 7 years old one morning Thackery wakes up too a song he looks next too him to his suprise his sister is not there .So quickly he rushes outside calling her name he rushes too tell his nebighor Elisha .The two boys disover that Emily had got out of bed and was hypontized bye the beautiful witch Sarah Sanderson Thackery quickly tells his friend too go awake his parents .Thackery rushes after Emily but he was too late Emily was already inside and was sitting down .Thackery reaches the loft of the sanderson's house and watches them brew the potion too take young Emily's life away.Winerfred Sanderson explains too her sisters Mary and Sarah that they will brew potion and suck all the lifes out of all the chirlden in Salem.Thackery jumps down from the loft dumps the potion out of the pot .Just when he is about too grab Emily he is suddnely stunned bye Winifred's lighting bolt and get's knocked out .Soon they suck the live out of Emily and turn Thackary into a black cat.Thankfully the three witchcrafted sister's our hanged for taking the life of Emily and for the disspearence of Thackary.Soon in the year 1989 about 300 years later 16 year old Max Dennison moves too Salem and soon becomes head over heels for Allison a pretty superstiton girl with a good image .On Halloween night Max takes his 8 year old sister trick or treating.Suddnely Max brings up the idea of Sanderson's sister's so Allison,Max,and Dani go too old musem that was once claimed the house of three witches who were hanged.Max who wasn't even thinking lights the black flame candle all the sudden they feel a shake from beneath them BOOM they here laughter .The three quickly hide .The witches return and nearly cook Dani until Max stands up proud and causes it too pour in the Sanderson house the three kids quickly run away in horror Thackary Bink's follows them.I love this movie it is a cool Halloween/Comedy flick for the entire family!
