Review: Anyone who didn't like Hocus Pocus takes themselves far too seriously. Great writing and acting in this cute Disney comedy. Must a movie be filled with sex, violence and profanity to be considered good? I think not!

Review: Hmmm, after you have then this movie quite alot of times it starts to get ridiculous but still very funny and good. When Max lights the Sanderson Sisters virgin candle, he actually brings the 3 old hags back to life from 300 years ago. Think its a good thing? No way! Cos the Sanderson Sisters are tricking all the kids in town to thinking that they are all good, peaceful witches! Wrong, again! All they wanna do to these children is....see it to find out!

Review: I Love this movie!! It get's you into the Halloween spirit,plus if you live near Salem,you can check out some of the places where it was filmed.Great movie for kids and adults!!! I wish they would come out with a sequel!! Vinessa Shaw isalso a nice piece of eye-candy!SWEET!!!

Review: This is one of those great Halloween-ish movies that fit me. Probably because my favorite Holiday is Halloween! If you like The Nightmare Before Christmas, you'll like this. You might even call it a ligther/funnier/not as serious version of The Craft!

Summary: Excellent cast, a little spooky, good music, family fun!
Review: I think when a movie critic pans a movie I usually like it because sometimes I just want to be entertained. Hocus Pocus is fun, especially for eight and older family members. Bette Midler is great, as are her "sisters". It is a little spooky for kids- but as a kid I was spooked by the banshee in Darby O'Gill and the Little People (also a fun movie for the family). Excellent cast, and Bette's version of "I Put A Spell On You" had me looking for the soundtrack (which, unfortuately, seems to have not been released). Try this, especially before Halloween...better than slashing-Freddie. Good special effects, and funny in parts.
