Summary: Oh god no...
Review: The Lizzie McGuire Movie(LMM) is a tremedously bad film. It amkes the Gidget movies look like classics. It's protagonist is Lizzie McGuire from Disney's TV series, in the film Lizzie goes to Rome for a class trip(pretty expensive class trip, but nevermind). While in Rome Lizzie meets up with a cute-ish boy, (I honestly forget his name, I thinnk it's Paolo) who wants Lizzie to be part of his act, his partner having just recently quit. The that Lizzie speaks no Italian doesn't seem to matter even tough the group is allegedly one of the hottest groups in all of Italy. Actually no one in the film speaks Italian, and the have some odd accent. Anyway Lizzie decides to take the allegdly Italian (He has an American accent people!)heartthrob up on the offer, thus ditching her group and leaving boy pal Gordo to explain her absence. After awhile we learn the the Italian-ish guy is a cad and LMM tries to teach us a lesson about friendship and loyalty or something. Oh, and the movie features nauseating and irritating carton Lizzies that echo Lizzie's thoughts. The movie also lacks charactars from the show most notably Lizzie best friend Miranda
I saw the previews for this movie wherein Hilary Duff, who plays Lizzie assures the audience the the movie was filmed in Rome Italy, not Rome, New York. Very clever. Then Lizzie, or rather Hilary, says, "I have an idea for a title, how about the Lizzie McGuire movie?" The writing staff looks pained. i would avoid this movie unless looking for a tranquilizer.

Review: THIS MOVIE IS THE BEST! I THINK IT IS LIKE A CINDERELLA STORY. ONE RE-VIEWER SAID HILARY IS TRYING TO BE THE AMANDA IN THE AMANDA SHOW! WRONG. SHE IS SO COOL. LIZZIE MACGUIRE IS BETTER THAN THAT STUPID MESSED UP AMANDA SHOW. AND WHAT IS UP WITH THE DANCING LOBSTER DEAL?! I LOVE LIZZIE MACGUIRE AND I COULD NOT WAIT TO SEE THIS MOVIE. I ADORE IT. ISABELLA IS SO NICE AND THAT FREAKAZOID PALO IS NOT BUT IF YOU SEE THE DVD IT HAS A SURPRIZE ENDING WICH I WON'T GIVE A WAY. THIS MOVIE IS DA' BOMB! I THINK THE TV SHOWS ARE AWESOME! I DONOT RECOMEND THE AMANDA SHOW, SABRINA THE ANIMATED SERIES, OR THAT'S SO RAVEN. THERE IS ONLY ONE LIZZIE MACGUIRE AND 1 HILARY DUFF! NO ONE CAN REPLACE THEM. Review: When my kids dragged me to see this movie I thought there was nothing I would enjoy. To my surprise, what I enjoyed most were the songs! They reminded me of my youth! Most of these songs are remade classics. Some are even better than the original songs! My kids are singing the songs with me and they can't believe that I know the lyrics too!

Summary: Lizzie, Gordo...no Miranda??
Review: First off I got to say is that the only reason The Lizzie McGuire Series is popular is because of the 'things' they go thru, in which many people can relate to. But also, the fact that there are three best friends who stick together....The Lizzie McGuire Movie was an off the bat Hit in the big screen. I don't know any Lizzie fan who didn't watch this charming movie. The only thing I didn't like about this movie was the corny line, the one where Paolo tells Lizzie she looks like something (I think the sun?). In the beginning Lizzie says to Gordo that Miranda is on Vacation (Mexico City). But I think if they had them all...it would have been much more...whats the word...edgier. I don't know...I am only a critic. Well, thank you for the time.

Review: If there was an award for the worst movie of the year The Lizzie McGuire Movie would win with out a doubt. A monkey could have written a script with a thicker plot. The movie from the beginning was very predictable and cheesy. It had no substance. Anyone who liked it only liked it because Hilary Duff was in it. The movie itself was nothing like the show Lizzie McGuire. Lizzie's best friend, Miranda, was not there, Kate, Lizzie's enemy was nice, and Ethan, Lizzie's not so smart crush, was actually acting intellectual. All in all I would rather watch grass grow than see it again.

Summary: The Ultimate Tween fantasy... :D
Review: The Low-down: First of all I want to say that I give this movie 5stars for [I]exactly[/I] what it is, a peice of family/tween friendly entertainment. And of course a treat for fans of the Lizzie Miguire show. But its pointless comparing it to films that are trying to be profound, because while this is trying to be a kids film with a good message: Be true to who you are, despite the consequences. And on all those levels it succeeds. I *Loved* it, I'll admit it, I did. And I love the show as well. The show is a cutesy Disney channel show always projecting a positive message, and I loved it. And the movie is exactly the same. Plot: We follow Lizzie as her and her fellow graduating class go to Rome. Well she ends being mistaken for an international pop superstar and going on a whirlwind romance and performing in a live concert. Needless to say when I was 14yrs this was just about my fantasy as well, only I imagined singing my own songs, ect. But anyways besides that. Its faithful to the show. Bar none: I you've [I]ever[/I] had an outlandish fantasy of any sort, you can appreciate this, if you love the show, or if you love good & wholesome tween/family entertainment. Target age: Girls 8 - 14yrs & their parents.

Review: The Lizzie McGuire Movie was outstanding. I was amazed at Hilary's performance. She is an awesome actress and singer. When Lizzie and Gordo finally kissed, I nearly melted in my seat, lol. I will definitely buy the DVD and her debut album. The only thing I didn't like was that Miranda wasn't there, but she wouldn't have fit in right anyways. Get the DVD. I believe you will not be disappointed.
