Summary: Well worth the time
Review: Maybe Robert Larson needs to lighten up, this is a feel-good, funny film, thoroughly enjoyable (and I am a skeptic on the quality of films these days) but was not dissppointed at all, there were a lot of cute, subtle little funny moments as well as the obvious stuff you'd expect... and the music was great. Really cute, I'm ging to see the 1976 version now!

Summary: I saw it with my three kids
Review: A great concept for a movie no matter how often it's retold. In its current form, the characters and dialog kept us entertained from beginning to end. As the final credits rolled, I noticed the audience lingered in their seats wanting to remain in the story just a little longer. It's a light, easy, funny summer movie for the family.

Summary: FREAKY FRIDAY ROCKS!
Review: This movie was gr8! It was very funny! It is a good movie to see how a mom and her daughter walks a day in each others shoes! This is one of my favorite movies now! I am now like a big Lindsay Lohan fan! She is very talented and pretty, I hope to see more from her coming soon! Everyone must see this movie! And Chad Murray is FINE!

Summary: WOW
Review: Allready pulling in over 6 million dollars in 2 days. This movie really put the classic story into a new prespective. This is a remake of the original Disney movie freaky friday. Some people dont know that there also was a freaky friday remake made in the 90's.... It was about a buisness mom and a swim team daughter. We'll in this version the charecters are funny and hip. And Linsey Lohan can really sing unlike....hilary duff. This was more realistic and mature than the Lizzie McGuire movie. And i thought it was really funny and i hate comedies...and disney movies so im proud to say this gets a perfect score! go see it...or it could happen to you..haha

Summary: Tends to try too hard
Review: "Freaky Friday" is the story of a mother and daughter, Tess and Anna, who just can't seem to get along. The situation is aggravated by Tess's upcoming wedding. But when Anna and Tess magically switch places and are forced to walk in each other's shoes for a day, they begin to understand each other.
My biggest complaint about this movie is that its writers try much too hard to make it funny, especially in the beginning. Many jokes fall flat. The real comical moments come when the actors embellish the script, such as Jake's rendition of "...Baby, One More Time," and Anna's performance at the House of Blues.
Lindsey Lohan is the best she's ever been, and Jamie Lee Curtis is quite good. Both actors do extremely well when the mother and daughter switch places, particularly Lohan. Chad Michael Murray is also very enjoyable, not to mention extremely good-looking.
Though it lacks smoothness at times, "Freaky Friday" is a fun movie. If you're looking for a few laughs, a little romance, and a good cry, this is the movie for you.

Summary: Things Are Gonna Get Freaky
Review: I liked this movie as expected. It's a really good teen movie. I have not seen one this good since 10 things i hate about you. It's got fantasy , comedy , and a decent love story. Jamie Lee Curtis in her best role since My Girl plays Tess and Lindsay Lohan ( The Parent Trap ) plays the rebelious daughter. It has everything. I loved it.

Summary: Great Family Movie!
Review: I have never seen the original Freaky Friday, but I really enjoyed this one! It's a great movie for the whole family and especially for mothers and daughters. Of course the plot is that the mom and daughter switch bodies and lives for a day. This movie was cute and funny! I think it's worth your time to go see this movie.

Summary: Mothers and daughters, must see!
Review: I've been looking forward to seeing this one for a couple of months since the trailers started playing in theaters, and I wasn't disappointed. Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan turned in charming and hilarious performances as a mother and daughter trying to understand each other in that eternal parent-child dilemma. Jamie Lee is wonderfully goofy, and pulls off the 'teenage thing' like she stopped being one yesterday. Lindsay Lohan manages to have an old soul, and rock 'n roll too! Add a fine supporting cast, including an understated Mark Harmon, and you have a fun and funny film for the whole family, -- but especially moms and their girls of all ages!

Summary: Freaky Surprise.
Review: The biggest surprise this summer turns out to be the one that everyone rolled their eyes at. Freaky Friday, yet another Disney remake of one of their own films, is a well-acted, well-scripted piece of family fluff. For anyone who doesn't know the story, basically a mother and a daughter who don't understand each other switch bodies for a day.

It doesn't matter how they do it because once it happens the film takes off. Both Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan are fantastic playing each other's characters -- especially Curtis. She has a complete loss of inhibition and is playing it for broke. Her outbursts of slang (like when she incredulously yells "Shuut UP!") are hilarious and she brings energy to the screen that hasn't been seen from her for years.

Of course it's Disney so you know that everything will end up with nice, sappy, understanding ending, but because of all the early shenanigans I found that I actually liked these two people a lot. This leads to the reconciliation being, well, all right I'll say it... heart-warming. In other words, Freaky Friday is definite guilty-pleasure material.

Summary: An Awesome, Amazing Remake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My friends and I laughed until the very end of the movie and so hard sometimes we were almost crying!! The acting is fantastic and nothing like the aweful first movie made twenty or thirty years ago. If you are a teen, wish you were still a teen are a pre-teen or was once a teen, you need to go and see this movie! It is SO AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!
