Summary: I watched it 3 times
Review: I loved Freak Friday. Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsey Lohan appear so natural working beside eachother. It's like they have known eachother their whole life. The movie is full of humor, but it also has a serious message. It's full of real issues with everyone relates too. Whether it's problems with your parents or a ex-friend picking on you and getting you in trouble, but there are at least five things everyone can relates to.

Summary: SWITCHEROONIE
Review: FREAKY FRIDAY is a movie of revelations. First, we have the breakout performance for an actress who has always done well, but in this movie, well she finds her niche. Jamie Lee Curtis is absolutely delightful in the role of Tess Coleman. She brings a comic ability hardly evidenced in her earlier films; she also has the maturity to cut loose and play her teenage daughter with all the stops pulled out. If this was a perfect world, Jamie Lee would find herself with a Best Actress oscar nomination this year. Likewise, Ms. Lindsay Lohan---incredible performance, going from the self-centered teenybopper to the more sophisticated and mature personage of her stressed out mom.
Lohan and Curtis work brilliantly together, and in this same perfect world, Lindsay would also be Oscar nominated.
Director Mark Waters kept things moving at a frenetic pace, and had me chuckling throughout the movie. We can't overlook, either, the wonderful actors in their supporting roles: Mark Harmon was his usual stuffy self, but there was innate warmth lurking there, too; Harold Gould was charming as the hard of hearing grandfather; Ryan Malgarini was perfect as the brother from hell; Dina Spybey was perfect as the too perfect classmate, Stacey; and my favorites: Rosalind Chao and Lucille Soong as the Chinese ladies who get the ball rolling with the switching. They are so full of life, they give the movie incredible bursts of fun and humor. Ironically, Chad Michael Murray worked best in his scenes with Jamie Lee; he seemed to have more maturity and self-confidence.
This is a very entertaining movie, and in its own way, much better than the original.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AND OSCAR DON'T BE SUCH A STUFFSHIRT!

Summary: Freaky Friday Rocks
Review: I think that Freaky Friday is a movie for almost everyone. It is so funny and you know exactly what the mother and daughter mean in their reactions when they change bodies for example: Belly Ring? Yes I think every mother would freak out to find their daughter had one at the age of 15(?)! Most teens find their mothers clothes rather dull compared to their own and seeing as all of this is made into a movie along with many other funny moments makes it a movie worth buying!

Summary: a pathetically made film with lousy script and directing
Review: what a junk. you think jamie lee curtis looks lika a believable shrink? you think that teary eyes youngster would be cool enough to attract the crazy mother and the old bride-soon-to-be? the only believable part is the endless conflicts between the sister/brother. there's nothing admirable or likable in this messy and boring movie, with so many hyped praises that fooled me again to rent and tried to watch. but oh my god, what a brain-dead junk it is.

Summary: Life Is Freaky!!
Review: This movie, being a remake of the first movie starring Jodie Foster and Barbara Harris is charming and almost cunning. This is the version starring Jamie Lee Curtis (Halloween H20) and Lindsay Lohan (The Parent Trap). I loved this movie from the moment it started. It has some corney parts and some almost funny while being part of reality. Of course, trading places can't really happen in real life! Or can it?? If you love Jamie in the Halloween series and Lindsay in The Parent Trap, this is the movie for you!! Enjoy!! Check out my other reviews!!

~~XoXoXo Treybaby~~

Summary: Non funny jokes and terrible music....
Review: The main problem with this movie is that it's not well casted. Curtis and Lohan play a mother and daughter who do not get along and yet their performances are so wooden to be not taken on the level. When they switch bodies and discover the other's personality at work, the performances get even worse with lots of takes to be funny but coming off as looking more patheic rather then generating laughter, the music and the movie's climax are so predictable and full of one cliche after another that it really makes you wish that something unexpected would happen just to break the phooney mood. Like maybe the IRS knocks on their door to tell them that they were caught cheating on their taxes. Something, anything that would put some life into an otherwise dead film.

Summary: A very respectable remake
Review: I honestly enjoyed the new version of Freaky Friday. The original was a classic from my childhood, but the remake is a more then suitable replacement.

The storyline is simple and predictable as a typically self-absorbed teenage girl and her overworked mother switch places to see how the other half lives. This is thanks to a magic fortune cookie delivered by an elderly Chinese woman who was just trying to help them. Unfortunately this switch occurs two days before the mother's wedding and the day before her daughter has a major honors test at school. From the minute this occurs, we know that each character will mature before the end of the show and will help the other in a way they didn't think was possible. It does happen, but it was sure fun to watch.

This is a great movie if you're looking to simply let your mind guy and be entertained. It succeeds and the lead roles are perfectly acted to make us care what the outcome will be. I highly recommend this film. It's one that you can truly enjoy with your family.

Summary: Funny!
Review: I watched this the other night and literally fell out of my chair from laughing. Although the entire movie is not always hilarious...the whole thing is sugar-coated which makes for a sweet delight to those just wanting a good 'ole family flick. Lindsey Lohan is awesome and absolutely the best in the movie. Watch it for the laughs and pure enjoyment.

Summary: Best Movie I've seen in ages...
Review: This movie was so awesome! It's about Anna Coleman, a 15-year-old tomboyish rock-chick (played to perfection by Parent Trap's LINDSAY LOHAN) and her psychatris mother Tess (came to life by JAMIE LEE-CURTIS) who hate each other. Anna wants to play in her rock band "Pink Slip" and her mother is getting all tight with her boyfriend and soon to husband.
Then one day, Anna and Tess have the same mysterious Fortune in their fortune cookies and switch bodies! And they thought living each other's lives were easy - they thought wrong!
But with Tess's wedding coming up, and Anna's big chance audition with her band, and doing it in EACH OTHER'S bodies, anything can happen!

This is the craziest and best comedy ever, it's got sweet romance and lot's of laughs, and fab acting by Lindsay and Jamie.

If Lindsay Lohan was replaced by Hilary Duff (with Hilary's Britney Spears style singer instead of the awesome "Pink Slip") this movie would totally flop. Lindsay has got a rock-chick sound and an awesome voice that sings, while Hilary is just a lip-sync Barbie Doll. "Ultimate" is a fab pop/rock number that would smash the charts, and Hilary's "So Yesterday" really is So Yesterday...

This is one of the best movies ever, I can totally relate to Anna...guys, detention, electric guitar, Emily Strange posters, annoying brother...yup, we have tons in common.

This is sooo much better then The Parent Trap, or any other film. I hope Lindsay will be back on the silver screen and music industry very soon...I can't wait!

Summary: YAY! KID'S MOVIES!
Review: I don't care how old i get, i never loose my appreciation for a good Disney movie. This is a great Disney movie.

Jamie and Lindsey are in top-form with comedic performances which are highlights of both their careers. Basically, "Freaky Friday" takes a pretty normal teenage girl (lindsey) and a pretty typical older woman (Jamie), gives them and hour and a half, and just lets them make shameless fun of themselves. Jamie is great at this ("Oh my god, she's BLIND!"), and Lindsey does pretty well too, especially considdering she's a beginner to acting.

I bought this movie that day it came out, because i knew i'd find myself watching it alot. And i have. It's been a couple weeks and i've already watched it 3 times. I plan on keeping this one around for a long time.
