Review: the movie made me think of a book that I had read. in the book a five and a half year old character is dragged to canada by his parents.his grandma finally takes him home. his parents don't want him to go home because they thought that the trip would be relaxing for him.they later find out that their son is stressed out.when they get home his mother rubs his back for him.the only one that knows what is wrong with him besides his grandma is his father's dog who's name is percy.his mother is the only one who understands him.which means she is the only one who can rub his back for him.the end.

Review: I like the part when Kevin turned on the TV. The guy in the TV started talking. Both to the pizza delivery guy and Marv. "Leave it on the doorstep and get outta here." was one of the things the guy in the TV said. What's next? Watch it to find out! It was just hilarious! I recommend it to people to like a good laugh.

Summary: Often Misses Comic Intent
Review: I don't want to sound like a party-pooper here, and yes I will admitt the film has some really funny bits in it. But overall, the extremely violent segments in the second half of the film detract from it as appropriate viewing for young people. I think many children (as well as most adults) will be disturbed by Joe Pesci's head being barbequed by an acetylene blow torch rigged up as a booby-trap. Or another scene, where the other criminal is lured into stepping (in bare feet,no less) on a 6 inch long nail is drawn out with sadistic relish. Most who disagree with me will note that the characters are presented as cartoon-like. But the fact remains the actors are real people and not animated images, and the visual effects are done with a very high degree of realism. That the protagonist is himself a victum of child abuse(being left alone)is a bit disturbing in itself. The violence he inflicts on others is only an acting out of the resentment and rage he fosters towards his parents. In summary, I don't feel this film is good for young people, and I don't think it's good for the holiday season.

Review: Home alone is a really exciting film.It is a kids' movie, but I;m not a kid and I still like it! It's because this movie is like a cartoon, and,yet with real people. All those set-ups,booby-traps and a cute little kid! It's truly a movie not only for kids, but for a whole family.

Review: Yes, the violence is a bit extreme, kind of like RoadRunner & Coyote brought to life, yet somehow Pesci & Stern make it OK to laugh at their foibles. Masterfully crafted by the great John Hughes, this film still stands as the number one all-time box office comedy. But, what really makes this film is the Score. Another triumph for John Williams. I highly recommend adding this film and the soundtrack to your Xmas collection.
