Summary: Fun Look at the Relationship between Mothers and Daughters
Review: My mother and I were looking for a good local movie to see that wasn't too deep, just good and entertaining. I really didn't know anything about this movie, but she said that it was supposed to be good so we agreed to see it. In the line to the movie, it was so funny when my mom mentioned that it was supposed to be good for mothers and daughters to see together. Then I looked around and realized that we were by far the oldest mother/daughter team there (I just turned 42)! hee hee It didn't matter though - it was a delightful movie - and at times we could even see ourselves in the characters. Good lighthearted fun for mothers and daughters of all ages!

Review: Okay I know what you are thinking, Lindsay? But really! This movie is soo great!! Since the departure of Lindsay since The Parent Trap and Life-Size (and the Disney Channel Made For TV Movie Get A Clue) Lindsay comes back with shining colors!! This movie is a must for you to have a "Freaky Friday!" Well... this movie is great and I loved it!!

Summary: Freaky friday- worth your time!
Review: The weekend's started and you're in a mood to watch a simple movie. Choose Freaky Friday! It's a nice, funny, lol movie which you can watch like 10 times and not be bored of it. Definitely some of the best acting i'v seen was in this movie. Linsey Lohan (star from parent trap another 1 of my favs.) and Jamie Lee were just so fun to watch on the big screen. This movie is definitely one of mine and everyone i know's all time favorites!

Summary: Actually very average--or what used to be average!
Review: I think that the reason that this film got as good a reception as it did was because of the generally lousy films that came out in the summer of 2003. It stood out a bit because it wasn't completely stupid and it wasn't trying to be the "ultimate" anything (and failing!) like most of the other films that summer. It was decently paced, it was quite well acted, and based on a familiar premise. I was your basic "B" movie. But nothing to write home about. The script only made the audience that I saw it with laugh out loud twice. An amusing film, not a yuk-fest, by a long shot. But still watchable--which is more than can be said about most of the films that came out in 2003!! For what it's worth Jamie Lee Curtis did deliver the best "teen-ager stuck in an adult's body" that I have seen in films.

Summary: Best all-family movie in ages
Review: I am a big fan of movies that kids of different ages AND their parents will love, because it means we can go to the theater together without complaint. Most kid-oriented movies, though, are simply not well-enough written or acted for the adults to be sufficiently entertained, and often either the kid or adult characters are only caricatures (the kids are only smartmouthed and the grown-ups are only clueless).Freaky Friday avoids those hangups; it's a tightly written and expertly acted film that will have both you and your kids in stitches. Jamie Lee Curtis does a phenomenal job playing a single mom, as well as a kid who wakes up in her mom's body. Lindsey Lohan is her teenage acting equal, making it absolutely believable that she is a 45-year-old woman in the body of a teenager. Everything is edited so clearly that even my 4-year-old got the basic premise of the film ("Mommy, now the mom is inside the girl"). We are definitely going to buy this one when it comes out on video; not only is it a truly fun film but the film's underlying message of family understanding and togetherness is one that's worth the price of admission. Go see it!
