Summary: MG$M
Review: I guess I'm alone on this. But If MG$M wants me to buy the excellent Pink Panther I want 50 cartoons for $25+tax at list price so I pay $20 at Best Buy. I want good mastering and the original versions of the cartoons. If MG$M wants to include Ant, Inspector, Toad cartoons then I want 100 cartoons for $50 or about $40 at Best Buy. I can get about 20 hours of 24 for is it $40 or $50. But I get 55 minutes of The Pink Panther for $15. That means $300 for 20 hours or 6 times as much. I hope everybody reading this post boycotts any MG$M product that is a rip-off. If we are being made to go to DVD instead of the superior Movie Palace culture with one cartoon in front of the a great print of a film or films and the other stuff and not Bad Boys 10 on a TV screen that is misized then don't rip me off MG$M. Too bad because there are almost no good cartoon collections available. And
children's programs like this Jackie Chan Adventures or whatever bad Anime they peddle now is just sad. Underdog with Tennese was cool. The Go-Go Gophers and Klondike kick ass. Scooby Doo Kids just sucks. Dexter's Laboratory is when it's not real weekday afternoon generic often real cool. But they don't give you the cartoons like they use too. Before MTV overworked Mike Judge and he had other people do it for him, Beavis was real cool. & speaking of cartoons- where is a good Paul Terry collection of Heckle, Mighty, Sydney, Hector, Mighty, Deputy and others? Where is a good Walter Lanz or Harvey with Baby Huey and others? Or a best of AAP with Poe, Mr. Magoo, Thurber, Shorty & Swifty and others. English people would probably buy a Magic Round About. There should be a normal length/price version of Weird Animation from Rhino. That means stuff at the quality of volume 1- 50 cartoons for $20 at Best Buy and mastered. Not scratchy prints and $40 for about 16 cartoons. Except people wouldn't know the cartoons so they might think they would suck. But that clay worm that eats everything is real cool. It would probably freak you out if you did acid. Then there is other stuff including modern/foreign. But it seems unlikely that the companies will ever get cartoons right so why bother? Its a shame about The Pink Panther- that's one of the coolest ones. I seem to remember a fight for a bone, a quarter and that real cool pet rock. Clutch Cargo where are you?

Summary: The cartoons are great! But where's the inspector?
Review: I loved these cartoons... I only wish I could find more on DVD. I give it only four stars because there could have been more than 8 cartoons on the disc and I wished there were more episodes with the inspector.

Summary: A Great Video For All Ages!
Review: I originally bought this tape a few years ago because I loved the Pink Panther as a kid. After watching it a few dozen times, I put it back along with the rest of my old cartoons. I recently dug it out of my video collection for my two-year-old son and he loves it! He even has a Pink Panther figurine that he carries with him wherever he goes! I love watching this tape with him, and I hope to get him more in the near future.

Summary: Poor amount of cartoons
Review: I rated this DVD 3 stars just for the fact of ONLY 7 carttons. This was absolutely ridiculous if not totally a rip-off. And what about the Ant and The Aardvark? The idiots tease you w/ their pictures on the cover and not one sniff of at least 1 toon! I hope someone comes out w/ at least 100 cartoons on DVD and I will definately purchase it. And then I can use this Jet Pink trash as a Frisbee.

Summary: A Classic
Review: I remember watching Pink Panther cartoons when I was a kid back in the 70's, when there were real cartoons and great Saturday morning shows for kids to watch. Scooby Doo, Bugs Bunny, all the Sid and Marty Krofft shows, and of course the Pink Panther, were on my regular Saturday morning viewing list. If you like classic cartoons, and want to be reminded when tv was a great pasttime, and you actually enjoyed watching it, get this DVD, you will love it....

Summary: Holding out on me?
Review: I was disappointed severely after watching this DVD. I was completely absorbed in the animation, soundtrack and overall aesthetic of the cartoon for...LESS THAN AN HOUR! Last I checked a full DVD can hold several times that much video. UTILIZE IT. And I know there are many more cartoons that could have been put on here. Furthermore, the inspector and the ant & the aardvark were naively neglected in this dvd. I fully expect a boxed set of every pink panther cartoon to come out, featuring more cartoons. So I don't have to go through this review process again, just to complain.

Incredibly upset,
chad

Summary: Almost, but no banana...
Review: I was ready for a whipsnap back to my youth--the days of watching Bugs Bunny on a Saturday morning with a Fudgesicle for breakfast, and this DVD almost helped me return. Surely they will crank out another DVD batch after seeing how popular this disc is...after all, it IS called "Jet Pink"! Maybe this DVD is the Pilot for a SERIES of discs, huh?

4 of 5 stars because this sparse collection did NOT include my personal favorite, featuring the insatiable termite who pretty much ate all of Pink's house. THAT segment will draw me to buy the NEXT DVD if ever it comes out. Pure family entertainment--if a little pricey--that's very worth it. Highly recommended.

Now I'm starting to hope for the Ant & The Aardvark!

Summary: The Pink Panther Cartoon Collection - Jet Pink DVD
Review: I'm glad they came out with the Pink Panther cartoon, but it was really short and the ant eater and others were not there!
Also, it looked like a video.
Wish it was digitally remastered...
But, maybe someone will come out with the rest of the entire Pink Panther cartoons, and will clean them up as well... Please!
But, glad at least I have something that is not on a video tape

Summary: Kyle's Pink Panther Review
Review: I'm only 14 years old,but I remember when Pink Panther was on Cartoon Network a couple years ago and I stayed up until 3:00 in the morning every night to watch it.It is my favorite cartoon ever made along with Scooby-Doo,Rocky and Bullwinkle,Wacky Races, and all the other classic cartoons from the 60's and 70's.I do not like all the new cartoons that they play now because they are boring and have stupid storylines.examples are cartoon cartoons on Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon cartoons. Some of my other favorite cartoons are Tom and Jerry,Looney Toons, and Popeye.Companies should make more classic cartoon DVD's for classic cartoon lovers everywhere.

Summary: Thankful That Color Restoration Has NOT Happened Here
Review: It has been heretofore suggested that these films are in need of a facelift; what order of criminal mind could bear to swing such an axe? Classics such as these cannot be "improved" by contemporary production methods. It is here, as it was meant to be seen.
