Rating: Summary: New Player Freezes every 5 minutes Review: This was a big waste of money. The player freezes with every DVD. We sent it back, but lost almost $20 in the deal after paying the amazon return shipping fee, and a restocking fee. A friend had the same experience with this DVD player.
Rating: Summary: Doesn't work! Review: Won't play DVDs without stuttering and skipping. Had to return for refund. Strangely enough, it played SVCD's fine. The price, small size and looks are a plus, too bad it was defective.
Rating: Summary: piece o crap Review: Worked for 10 seconds before it started popping and cracking. Was rated high when I purchased back in early December. Should've waited, I'm having same problem as other people now. Don't buy it. Spend the extra money for name brand. I would've rated 0 stars if it would've been an option. I gave this as a gift to my parents, what an embarassment.
Rating: Summary: Six months and out... Review: Worked well with every advertised function for 6 months. I let it sit for about 3 months unused and came back to it to find that it was somehow no longer able to recognize a DVD - whether commercial, DVD-R or DVD+R. Makes no difference. It plays any VCD that I have tried oddly enough, but chokes on the DVDs. It should work for at least a year. The warranty is for 2 years, I will get to see how responsible Norcent is about fixing their products.
