Summary: A great childhood memory fit for the kids
Review: I remember i used to watch this movie over and over when i was a young child. Years later this copy, having been well loved, was worn out an no longer able to play. But to my surprise i spotted this dvd in my local Kroger and immediatly bought it. It was such a joy to sit down and relive a piece of my childhood which a one point had been forgotten. What is even better is that this dvd is safe for all kids, not like the movies that have been coming out recently and you have to keep away from your kids because of voilence and language. Plus it is filled with vivid colors and music sure to keep your child entertained.

Entertain your childre like your parents entertained you, get them Care Bears....their fun, safe, and educational. You cant go wrong.

Summary: Great Movie to Recommend
Review: I recall watching this as a kid and loved it. The songs are great. Recently, I rented this for my 3-year old and got stuck with late fees because she loves it and doesn't want to give it back. To surprise her, I bought her own Care Bears Movie on DVD. The first time I watched it with her brought memories when I was a kid and loved the care bears. Surprisingly, I remembered all of the songs. These type of cartoons and others I grew up with, are so much better than today's cartoons. Definitely a good movie to recommend.

Summary: Super Duper Fun
Review: I watched this movie, and I was blown back by the amazing production value, and the stellar voice cast. And believe me, it takes a lot to please this hard-core Care Bears fan. But this was what I was waiting for. After years of waiting for them to do it right, they finally did it. Recomended for anyone over 17.

Summary: Great movie for all generations
Review: To think that someone would say that a carebear movie is full of 'evil' is the most riduculous idea that I have ever heard. This movie is full of nothing but understanding. So what if its not emmy material it doesnt have to be its a children's movie. Maybe if people would stop looking at the technical goofs and maybe more at the underlying theme they wouldnt get such rash ideas in their heads. With today's programming I really doubt that the carebear movie could really harm any child in a negative fashion. So what if they stand on clouds and talk about their feelings, God forbid that anyone can dream and use their imaginations. This is a kids movie, and an excellent one at that. Its much better than any telle tubby, boo bah, or barney show could ever be.

Summary: horrible movie
Review: This movie is really bad on so many levels I hardly know where to start. For whatever the reason, most of the movie is involves a boy possessed by an evil spirit. Any attempt at a positive message is totally lost in the EVIL imagary and theme. Attempting to get a happy, nice movie for my young children, I ended up with a totally disturbed movie.

Summary: Cute Movie
Review: My three year old son loves this movie. I read reviews that talked about how walking on clouds was impossible and we should not put these thoughts into our childrens heads. I also read a review that just went on and on about technicalities that do not even matter to kids. The fact is, most children cartoons are based on things that will never happen. Monkeys don't talk in Spanish, but everyone loves Dora. Kids don't care if the words are off with the movement of the mouth. My little boy has watched this movie about 10 times in three days and I watch it with him a lot. I think it is a cute movie. I just want to pick up a care bear and give them a hug.

Summary: This movie is an ABOMINATION!
Review: I hated everything about this movie. Everyone knows that it is impossible to stand on a cloud. Filling children's heads with such silly ideas is like telling them they can get bad grades and still be president...

Summary: I have never seen lower depths
Review: I am actually watching this movie on cable television as I write this review. This movie is so mind-alteringly appalling, it feels like it has come through a portal from another dimension. It holds my attention like a car accident. I feel the need to warn any potential buyers of this movie, since the reviews seem to be compromised of people who were inoculated at an early age against the shoddiness, smarminess, and COMPLETE LACK of any subtlety, irony, talent, plot, or humor whatsoever.

The later mediocrity of the Care Bears movies, and TV show, had not yet been accomplished when this movie was made. This is, in essence, a ninety-minute commercial.

The animation is laughable at best. The characters blink simultaneously, and the vocal talents murmur, "Oh no!" and "Watch out!" when their mouths don't move onscreen. The movie itself has the air of an amateur theater project, as many of the lines seem improvised and drawn-out. Sometimes the animation is a few seconds behind the sound. I suspect it was dubbed after it was animated. It looks like a Tootsie Pop commercial.

But nitpicking over simple technical faults is nothing compared to the soulless, toneless, tuneless, shameless, namby-pamby movie itself. The songs are not songs. They are interludes of torture. The phrase "share your feelings" is repeated ad vomitum. The plot flies like a dead bird.

I say this not lightly: Barney is easier to watch.

This movie would probably have a cult following in colleges, especially after three AM. Around that time, it starts to look demonic. One is almost tempted to search for Satanic messages. Some of the characters' eyes are glassy and unfocused, and running takes place in laughably slow motion. It actually reminds me of the dreams one gets where one runs and runs, away from a horrible thing, and moves too slowly to escape. The only difference is that the horrible thing is running slowly, onscreen.

I have watched the second Care Bears movie, and it is in the safe, comforting realms of the so-so. I would watch the second one again. I would watch the first one, but only if I either wanted to write a psychology/film paper and needed some gory material, or wanted to cause someone undue psychological pain. There is a world of difference between the two.

Buy this movie for revenge. Buy it for curiosity. Buy it out of a sick sense of humor. It is truly-- TRULY-- the worst I have ever seen, and I have a five-year-old sister-- I have seen a lot. I mean, I LIKE most Disney movies.

But I implore you to consider your humanity.
Don't buy this for your children.

Summary: They are Really Cute
Review: The Care Bears.

I love it! The Care Bears live up in the clouds and watch over the earth like furry little angels. In this movie, they come to the rescue of 3 lonely children. There are a few songs by the bears:} Normally, I don't like musicals at all, But this one's cute.
Wish Bear is my favourite bear.
