Summary: A classic triumph in childrens animation!
Review: This is sorta strange. I'm eleven years old renting this movie. I have a interest in 80's cartoons. This is a cool movie. The storyline is wonderful. It's about two kids whom they meet the care bears. Also a magicians assistant a young boy with no friends thumbles into a evil book that can talk fools him and makes the whole world with no love or caring. Looks like a job for the care bears! This is a great movie for little ones. Kids will really get the message. This ones worth every penny!

I hope my review will help you in making the desicion to buy this heart-warming movie.

Summary: The first is always the best
Review: As with any movie the first one is alwayse the best, and this is the case with this Care Bears movie. It is a great video to have and relive some childhood memories of watching the once great tv show. Also it is a good movie that will keep young kids/toddlers interested without any negative messages. All in all a very nice wholesome and entertaining kids movie.

Summary: A great kids movie
Review: I think this movie is one of the best Care Bear Movies ever. An evil spirit tricks a lonely boy named Nicholas is tricked into casting an evil spell that will eventually make everyone in the world stop caring. Two of the Care Bears and two children that are visiting Care-a-Lot head down to Earth to stop Nicholas and the spirit, but get lost along the way and end up in the Forest of Feelings, where they make some animal friends who care about people just as much as the Care Bears do. The other Care Bears go to rescue the two Care Bears who got lost in the Forest of Feelings, and the Care Bears and the animals join forces. Together, the Care Bears and their friends help Nicholas that there are people who want to be his friends, and Nicholas helps defeat the evil spirit. Afterwards, the Care Bears and their animal friends have a party in Care-a-Lot, where Tender Heart Bear, leader of the Care Bears, uses his tummy symbol to give the animal friends tummy symbols of their own. After this, the animal friends are known as the Care Bear Cousins, and they help the Care Bears care about people on Earth. This movie teaches kids that it's good to share their feelings, and that there's always someone who cares about them. This is why I think this is a very good movie for kids.

Summary: Great movie for boys and girls
Review: Hmmm...well, I didn't think this was a sad and emotional movie (see other reviews below). It's very lighthearted and happy with some good lessons learned. I think the music is very catchy and cute...this movie is mostly cute and cuddly.

Summary: Heart-rending...
Review: A heart-rending vision of life in the wake of WWII. One cannot forget Tenderheart's stunning performance as a member of the oppresive Gestapo. When it was over, it left me with no tears left to shed.

Summary: An intelligent observation of human suffering and kindness
Review: The is THE most beautiful movie I have over seen. I have never cried so hard since I watched Titanic.

Summary: ONLY for small fry
Review: I cannot believe people want to defend this movie as a message for caring. Ugh. Give me a break! Others say "what isn't tied into merchandise?" Well, the Care Bears merchandise didn't happen after this movie or their TV shows, it happened WELL before it. Deliberate merchandise planning overshadows any "real" message for kids. The dialogue is horrible, playing down to kids. the animation is before the 90s animated revolution so it's extremely crude 80s crap. The songs are totally forgettable, especially the Carly Simon-"I gotta pay off some bills and the IRS"-song. Cutesy dumb caring names for the bears only makes it that much more annoying for any parent that actually had to go to the theaters with their kids and watch this drivle. And Mr Cherrywood. Where they hell has this guy been all day while Mrs Cherrywood takes care of a house full of kids?? All he does is tell some lame bedtime story. Well, my kids seem to enjoy it, so it keeps 'em quiet for more than an hour so I guess I shouldn't complain. But any parent who's had to sit through this lobotomising feature can relate to this review...

Summary: Chewing Gum For A Toddler's Mind!
Review: Low rating for educational content.. you have to search real hard for any meaning. However- if you'd like your children to put their little brains in auto-pilot (remaining transfixed and mezmorized for the duration of this mindless, saccarin sweet low budget tripe) then this movie does the trick. I couldn't bear it.. diabetes overdose far too painful for me, but my 2 year old and 4 month old loved it.
Somebody tell me how a studio gets away with making an extended musical snuggle dryer sheet advertisment and calling it a movie!
