Review: A movie to see with the entire family, and friends. Mulan proves to all people that a young woman could do a mans job just as well as a man could; maybe even a bit better! It's a movie you can't get tired of seeing. Ties in with The Lion King, Simba's Pride, and also The Prince of Egypt! I recommend it to everyone!

Summary: TRULY AN INSPIRATION!!
Review: Mulan is a young lady trying to find out who she is and her place in the world. Dealing with customs and stereotypes, she finds she does'nt fit in to societies idea of a woman. Mushu himself was judged by a mistake that he had previously made. They took a chance despite persecution, overcame and found out who they were and that they COULD make a difference. We may often judge others and ourselves by strength, when it's our inner strength we miss. All it took was "ONE GRAIN OF RICE" to make the difference. And the weights that held her back, became part of her solution. I laughed, I cried, I left with a sense of "I Can Do Anything", despite not knowing the outcome. A liberation of the spirit.

Review: As an Asian-American, There are many adaptations spun from this legend of a strong-willed girl willing to risk her life so that her ailing father would not go fighting. Disney's Mulan is a fair adaptation of that story and I was pretty much love the characters in the story. THERE is NO stereotypes or exploitation in this story, just a very good treatment of the legend. I love the voice actors too! Ming Wa Neng (Joy Luck Club), BD Wong(Madame Butterfly), George Takei (Star Trek), Eddie Murphy supplied the comedy treatment that was so good! And of course, it is Disney, and it has the scope of a big feature animation. Bravo!
