Summary: The start of a great series.
Review: I first saw this movie several years before my kids were born, and I enjoyed it. But watching it with kids is even more enjoyable. My kids love this movie. It teaches them how if you stay with your friends then things will work out good.The story is centered around Littlefoot the leader of this group of kid dino's. Spike, Cera, Ducky and Petrie all join together in search for the great vally after being seperated from their families. This is a sad movie, a scary movie and a happy movie all in one. I think that the voices of the dinosaurs are great, they realy show their emotions. This movies shows how different dinosaurs of different species need to work together to survive. My favorite dino is Petrie.

Summary: American Animated Classic
Review: I was VERY young when the movie came out, and I STILL love it. It's an animated classic, basically what you would expect from Don Bluth. For other great animated classics, see ALL the animated movies by Hayao Miyazaki. The only downside of The Land Before Time is that they have made SO MANY D*** SEQUELS!! THE ORIGINAL IS THE BEST, SO STOP TRYING TO MILK A CASH COW!!

Review: I have to say that I was 8 years old when this movie came out. Now I see many of my young cousins watching this same movie. It's a heart-warming tale that the whole family can enjoy.

Review: This movie, along with the rest of the series,was a big hit with my 3 yr old boy (though the others in the series are are not as good as the first). Some scenes with T-Rex are scary, but of course everyone manages to avoid being eaten in the end.

Summary: Wonderful movie, bad DVD
Review: This movie was just copied onto a dvd. It's not even in widescreen format, which would show the entire screen instead of cutting off some of the screen. The extras ("how to use the remote control", etc!!!) totally stink. The movie, on the other hand, is excellent. The scene of the mother dinosaur's death STILL brings tears to my eyes, and I am eighteen years old! It's about Little Foot, a long neck who is born into a dangerous land in which sharp tooths (sharp teeth?) run wild, earth quakes occur, and food is running out. They must reach the Great Valley in order to reach safety. Little Foot meets Duckie, the big mouth, Petrie, the flyer, and Spike. Sara, a three horn, hates Little Foot at first because Little Foot is not the same type of dinosaur that she is; however, over time, they become great friends. It is a story of endurence, friendship, and sticking together. Truly beautiful. As I said, some scenes still make me cry. My three year old nephew loves it!!!! All the sequals are musicals, but this movie doesn't have any songs! Strange!

wen littlefoots mom dies! but i love the rest of the movie(too bad the kid that played ducky in the first movie died i found it out on a her website!!)i hate the rest of the land before time movies but i like 5!! ther is someting strang about the moms and dads in the movie they show caras mom and duckys dad and in the other movies
they don`t show them huh? and in the end of the second movie spike
has a broter how can he if he dase not have a mom or a dad?
