Summary: Not Worth the Money
Review: Save your money, this one isn't worth it. The dubbing is bad, Sakura sounds like a whiney brat. The story arc and plot are nonexistant because of bad editing (examples: five or so minutes cut from the episodes, eps 1-7 are deleted along with explainations of how it all started, ep 8 is played as ep 1 and ep 43 has become ep 17). Nelvana really messed this up when they decided a little girl couldn't carry the show that was supposed to center around her (I'm not assuming, they've actually said this). If this is for your children and they can read, get them the subtitled version, CardCaptor Sakura. You'll all appreciate it more.

Summary: Expert Advice
Review: This movie, along with all the other dubbed versions of Cardcaptors Sakura, is a rip off. Unless you are on a serious budget or are giving this to a person you loathe, do not buy this. Buy the Sub. version. It is not that hard to read the subtitles.

Summary: don't follow the dub!
Review: This show was once a wonderful thing. It was funny, magical, and the age group didn't matter! But when this show became dubbed, the wonderful world of Cardcaptor Sakura changed. A little crush had to be completly changed, a cute couple were suddntly "cousins", and love became fear. The great parts of this anime were changed! Then on to name changes: Sure, Sakura's name was still the same, but now it was pronounced Sa-coora, or Sa-kera. Then Tomoyo="Madison", Touya= "Tori", Yukito= "Julian" and there are so many other name changes that i couldn't end this. The dubb made so many pointless changes. Even the setting of the story! This dubb is terreble...whenever a good anime is dubbed, it gets a bad reputation and no one thinks about how the dubb is messed up. Why does the name "Cardcaptor Sakura" have to be changed to "Card Captors"? She is the main character, anyway. The dubb doesn't even show all the episodes and just cuts one up to have a huge flashback--they are really just making more work for themselves. Stop the dubb!

Summary: Cute Video, But fails with dubbing
Review: this video has wonderful characters and breathtaking animation. i would have given it 5 stars, but its dubbing totally deprived it of its original zeal. Kero remains his cute self, Li is unsocial but still shows signs of his fondness for Sakura, and Sakura, the main character, demonstrates her beautiful personalities. Strength, friendship, determination, and bravery is only the begining.A great role model for kids. this movie is going to entertain all ages, even though it seems self-deprived of its first excitement in the Japanese version .

Summary: Read this before you buy!
Review: When I first saw Cardcaptors on Kids WB, I thought that it had a good plot, but that the voices sounded way too old for fourth graders and was messed up somehow. Then I learned that the uncut original Japanese version was available, so I bought the DVDs. And there was much rejoicing in my household! Now if you're a parent and you are purchasing this for your young kids, it might be better to stick with the dubbed version, (Cardcaptors), since the subtitled (Cardcaptor Sakura) has some issues that might seem questionable for the younger children (mild homosexuality), but if you are buying this for older kids or yourself, I strongly that you consider buying Cardcaptor Sakura instead. It's much better, the voices sound appropriate for the characters' ages, the beginning's much better, and Kero-chan's spot at the end of each episode is too good to miss.
