Summary: Pretty cool, great story line, a little too predictable.....
Review: My son loves anything with Scooby Doo on it, weather it be a knapsack or a toy, he loves it. This was a great movie and he enjoyed it tremendously, however, havign to sometimes watch it with him, I found this a little on the predictable side. A little annoying at times also. But, hey, it makes my son proud so I will keep it....

Summary: The New Ones Are ALL Great
Review: Ok, I am 32 years old and the mom of an almost 3 year old girl..I loved Scooby growing up, my daughter does now, and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the new movies and I think get more excited than SHE does about them....What's great is they have grown up right along with you, so it's not only fun for the grown-ups, too, but what kid doesn't like Scooby Doo? I CANNOT wait to buy it!

Summary: The One Where Shaggy Falls in Love
Review: Out of all the new Scooby Doo movies (Zombie Island, Witch's Ghost), I found this one for be more like the original tv series-- thin plot and not much character development. As in the later Scooby and Shaggy shows, the "rest of the gang" (Fred, Daphne and Velma) are minimal characters. But the new twist of Shaggy and Scooby falling in love with groovy chicks is fun and sweet, and makes it a worthwhilw flick for Scooby fans. Kids will enjoy.

Summary: Close Encounters with Scooby
Review: Really cute movie full of interesting characters including flying saucer buffs, secretive scientists, and less than friendly aliens. I was really pleased with this movie, and so glad I bought it! So far I have been happy with all of his recent movies, Zombie Island, Witches Ghost and this.

Summary: Another Triumph For Cartoondom's Greatest Dog Star
Review: Scooby Doo and the Alien Invaders is great fun for the whole family. Everyone returns(Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy and Scooby) for this action-packed send up of Everything Alien, from Close Encounters to E.T. to Invasion of the Body Snatchers meets The X-Files. My nine-tear-old daughter particularly liked the part where Scooby pushes Shaggy around the Aliens' ship on a gurney. Funny action, good pacing and solid dialogue make this a sure-fire family treat. Don't miss it!

Summary: Shaggy and Scooby Doo are in love in this movie.
Review: Scooby Doo and the Alien Invaders is yet another short movie that runs between 70 and 79 minutes. And again there is no Scrappy Doo but in lieu is the whole gang. As the movie opens Shaggy and Scooby Doo (Scott Innes) and the whole gang is coming into a un-named town. And there is trouble once again with the mystery machine. So Daphne (the late Mary Kay Bergman), Velma (B.J. Ward) and Fred (Frank Welker) had off to the town to find help. While Shaggy and Scooby Doo stay back and guards the mystery machine.

Shaggy and Scooby get into the Scooby Snacks, but find there is only one left. And shares into 50:50. But the Scooby snack gets a way from Shaggy and Scooby and an animal gets it. And Scooby and Shaggy get chased into town by aliens. While that its going on Scooby Doo Where Are You is sung by another singer. Scooby and Shaggy find themselves in a diner where Fred, Daphne and Velma are at. And a painter named Lester (Jeff Glen Bennett) is there having a bit to eat. He too has seen the aliens but nobody in town buys his story. Not even the waitress (Jennifer Hale) and the cook (Neil Ross) doesn't belive him either.

Lester tells Fred, Daphne, Velma his story and invites them to his home to see his pitcures which are really paintings. Lester invites Scooby, Shaggy, Fred, Daphne and Velma to spend the night in his home. But during the night Shaggy and Scooby are taken aboard a space ship for questioning. And is left in the desert and is waken by a girl named Crystal (Candi Milo) and her dog Amber.

Crystal claims to be a photograher but is really a goverment agent. Shaggy and Scooby soon fall in love. Crystal drives Shaggy and Scooby Doo back into town. But at breakfeast at the same diner Shaggy and Scooby Doo doesn't order breakfeast that surpises Daphne, Velma and Fred. If you love Scooby Doo then you should add this to your collection of Scooby tapes or dvds.

Summary: Scooby Meets the X-Files
Review: The characters are the same, but their familiar clothes are updated slightly (Turtleneck on Velma is gone, Ascot on Freddy gone, Daphne is in shorts and a tank top, etc) The Mystery Machine is a close match and more importantly the voices are close to the originals. There are new songs and an updated version of the familiar theme song dune by Jennifer Love-Hewett. MOST IMPORTANTLY THE FAMILAR GENRE IS ALMOST THE SAME! Beware, however, as "the hormones" are almost on overdrive, and curve hugging outfits are a bit overdone. There is a cute love song & animation sequence. The program is safe for kids, but not as innocent as the originals. The title mentions aliens and delivers. It almost looked like the writers had worked for the "X-Files" as there were plenty of similarities. There were several advertisements for Cartoon Network show-themed videos and a short non-Scooby film afterwards. The video lasted 73 mins.

Summary: ANOTHER GREAT ADDITION
Review: The mystery may be a little weaker than in previous Scooby movies but this is still well worth your time and showcases the huge potential in the revamped Scooby franchise.

The Mystery Inc. gang break down in the desert (déjà vu?) and have to stay the night in a nearby town where the locals rant about aliens kidnapping cattle. So obviously they are up for investigation.

I still don't like those stupid sound effects that are STILL (!!!!!!) used when Scooby or Shaggy BEGIN to run away. You know what I'm talking about. It sounds like someone rattling a quarter around in a tin can. It's pretty lame, considering all the thought and effort that has went into updating the franchise, that these old-fashioned and cruddy sound effects are being used in this day and age.

But that aside there is a lot of fun to be had as Shaggy falls in love (his song is way cool), is kidnapped by the aliens along with Scooby and the gang suspecting a rather unfriendly mechanic.

Scooby Doo is going places (even further if they do away with those sound effects) and next time the writers should focus more on plot and mystery as this one was wrapped up in a disappointingly short 74 minutes. But Scooby still rocks despite this being the weakest so far.

The DVD is in Dolby Surround and fullscreen.

Summary: An fine family animation movie.
Review: The plot:Scooby Doo and his gang are going to road trip near in the desert. Scooby Doo and Shaggy believe that they saw a alien spaceship and then later. Then the both saw, them later as a test experences. Then a old man, believe he saw them too. Then one unknown young female and her dog, believe that is alien exist among us. Not terribly funny as the another Scooby Doo films or episodes, but worth viewing once. OK movie, at times, could have better. But i do like Scooby Doo and the Zombies is much better. DVD picture quality and sound is pretty good for a direct to video. Grade:B.

Summary: Not Scooby's Best Work
Review: This is not one of Scooby's better movies. Some of the images are fine, and there are some comical moments. The crime itself makes sense, and the actions of the criminals are interesting. But those are the only real good things I can say about this. Unlike "Scooby Doo and the Witch's Ghost," or "Scooby Doo On Zombie Island," the plot is quite thin. The misleads are not well placed; the actual criminals are a bit too obvious; and the presence of the real alien in my opinion does not really fit. Young children may like this, but unlike "Scooby Doo and the Witch's ghost," or "Scooby Doo On Zombie Island," this will probably have a young cut off age.
