Summary: Enjoyable series but too expensive
Review: Pokémon is the story about Ash Ketchum and his friends, Misty Williams and Brock Harrison. Ash's goal is to become a Pokémon Master. Misty's goal is to be "the best at everything" but, more specifically, a Water Pokémon Master. Brock's goal is to be the world's best Pokémon breeder. Pokémon are the animals that inhabit their world. They come in many different species (mouse, cat, dog, etc.) and types (electric, grass, water, fire, etc.). Each Pokémon trainer trains his or her Pokémon to battle other Pokémon and win badges to compete in Pokémon Leagues. Ash, Misty, and Brock must deal with Jessie, James, and Meowth of the evil Team Rocket, who want to steal Ash's first Pokémon, Pikachu, and usually other Pokémon as well. This Japanese animation series is an advertisement for the Pokémon video games, and the episodes' plots are usually simple, but this is actually an enjoyable series. Common themes are friendship, not giving up, parting ways with a dear friend, and other good morals. Parents and guardians that are concerned about the violence need not worry. Yes, the kids have their pets fight each other, but they also must learn to take care of and love their pets. Girls will find a strong female role model in Misty. Overall, this is a fun, simple, warm-hearted, rather repetitive series. However, despite how much I like the anime, the DVDs are not worth your money. Each episode is probably less than twenty minutes long, and there are only three episodes on each DVD. You would be paying the price of this DVD for around one hour of Pokémon. That's ridiculous. They don't even include the Japanese vocal tracks with English subtitles or the fun music videos from the TV airings. You can rent these same English-dubbed episodes on VHS. If you really want this series on DVD, my advice to you is to buy the movies and the special, "Mewtwo Returns", and wait for box sets of the series.

Summary: There's GOT to be a morning after!
Review: The first segment of this tape is so shamelessly derivative of "The Poseidon Adventure" that I half expected to hear Maureen McGovern on the soundtrack. ("Pikachu be a morning after?") By the time we got to the end, I felt as battered as if I'd survived a shipwreck. Characters with no depth; illogical plot twists; dialogue that sets your teeth on edge; why my 6-year old likes this stuff, I'll never know. I can't wait till the "morning after" this whole Pokemon craze blows over and we can go back to watching REAL cartoons like Jonny Quest.

Summary: Seaside Pikachu is Cool!
Review: The Island of the Giant Poke`Mon was wild! I like it when you can find out what the Poke`Mon are saying. And in Tentacool and Tentacruel, it's cool what happens to Meowth. I'm not saying anything now, but it's great!

Summary: THIS MOVIE RULES! THE GYARADOS' DRAGON RAGE WAS SUPERB!
Review: This has got to be the best Pokemon video in the world! I especially liked the part when the Pokemon talked to each other in their own language! My personal favorite is Island of the Giant Pokemon because it showed Zapdos, the Thunderbird! Overall, I really liked the Gyarados and their Dragon Rage attack. A definitely must see for the true Pokemon fan.

Summary: poopy pokemon!
Review: This is a disgrace to the real oceans! The pokemon have no chance against real fish. Jaws should be put in their to chew on Pikachu and the pokemon trainers! I once liked pokemon when I was 8 yrs. old or so, and now I have REALLY outgrown it and think it is retarded!!! P.S. The pokemon fish is a total insult to real fish! Real fish are smarter and even stronger. Sorry pokemon was even made! POKEMON FANS BEWARE!! NO REQUIRED READING.

Summary: Seaside Pikachu Rules!!!
Review: This is an interesting movie. I love the episode when the lost pokemon start talking to each other and it has subtitles underneath them! My favorite Pokemon in the episodes is Magikarp. I love how he is useless and ends up shipwrecking them. Dragon Rage is powerful!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Pretty good
Review: This movie was really good! I recomend it to all Pokemon fans. The Pokemon Shipwreck one was pretty good, but one flaw. Dragon Rage is a fire attack, not a water cyclone!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Saint Anne Conclusion!
Review: This video includes the amazing concluding episode to "Battle aboard the Saint Anne"! I won't spoil anything but Magikarp is so funny in this episode! The anime quality of this cartoon is superb! Making this a must for all Pokémon fans!!!
