Most kids know that a step into Arthur's world feels good. They can relate to the endearing aardvark with the oversized glasses. In "Night Fright," Binky Barnes is afraid of the dark, but he's even more fearful that his friends will find out he sleeps with a nightlight. When Arthur discovers Binky's deepest secret, their friendship is put to an important test. In "What Scared Sue Ellen?" Arthur and pals get a case of the jitters when they hear an eerie noise in the woods. With friends rallied in support, Sue Ellen summons all her courage for a scary showdown. Lastly, "The Fright Stuff" brings together spooky pranksters just in time for a "Scare Your Pants Off" costume party. In a boys-against-girls battle of wits, Arthur and friends realize that even practical jokes have limits and can come back to haunt you. Arthur should score for children ages 4 to 8. --Lynn Gibson
