Summary: Bad voice acting ruins it all
Review: Sonic the Hedgehog, the Movie, could have been a great production. It had some promise, but the people at ADV didn't seem to realize it (or were too cheap to realize it). The primary reason why this flick fails is because of the terrible voice acting. Not all the voice actors are horrible; in fact only two characters have absolutely terrible voices, but those two happen to be the main characters. Sonic and Tails are terrible rip-off voices who attempt to sound like their previous cartoon couterparts. Both Sonic and Tails sound like their noses are plugged and this is very distracting. When will these producers learn that cheap voice replacements NEVER work?!?!? (i.e. Dexter's Laboratory has gone WAY downhill since Christine Cavanaugh left) This video would have been at least twice as better if ADV had put in the effort to recruit the original Sonic Voice (Jaleel White) and Tails, and put a bit more effort into the voice acting. Honestly, the Sonic and Tails' voices are the only voices I have a problem with, but it's a BIG problem. I must say, that the rest of the voices are fine. Sara's voice is alright, Knuckles' voice is great, and Robotnik's is fantastic. The rest of the characters aren't half bad either. But the horrible voices of the main characters really brings this anime dub down. I do appreciate having the original Japanese BGM, the original Japanese Audio track, and subtitles greatly. I just wish that more work was put into the dub.

Summary: Sonic Movie
Review: I thought the movie was pretty good and somewhat funny, though there were a few down points about it. First of all, the people in the movie kinda ruined it since I only like to see our fuzzy heroes. Another thing is that some parts had nothing to do with the plot. Though the ending was ok. And you gotta love Hyper Metal Sonic even though he is on Robotnik's side. Basically, you should buy this if you love Sonic or are just interested. Oh yeah... KNUCKLES IS COOL!

Summary: Brilliant Movie (so many ways of putting it!!!)
Review: This movie is a brilliant collection item for Sonic fans escpecially on DVD, great animation, great story and great action, it really captures the fast-paced manuvers of Sonic and the other characters. Theres only one thing i could find which sort of let the movie down, and that was that it was too short, 60 minutes really isn't enough, you need double the time for a really great movie, I just hope they make the next one longer (if there is a next one). There's nothing else i can say exept that it's a must see movie...

2.Has a GOOOD plot and characters(Of course!)
3.Alot like an adaptation to Sonic CD from the Sega CD & PC.
4.Good voices except for Tails(he talks like a 3 and a half year
old!)
5.Metal talking makes me cringe.(I like to be scared!)
5.And finally,it is..you guessed it!It's an ANIME\MANGA movie!!!)
YAY!! Sonic fans,buy THIS movie!!If you like Mario,forget this.

Summary: From a kid who has been loyal to it since '95
Review: I have been in love with Sonic since 1995. This movie has a very nice animation quality, but is a bit grainy and voice acting is horrible. Basicly, Sonic and Tails glide through nicely animated areas while being attacked by robots. The voice acting is bad, but after ten minutes you won't care. The art style has not aged easily, but still, the entertainment and flattery is really nice. It takes some elements from Sonic CD. Whoever liked that game will love the movie. It is really cool that the Yuji Naka, the creator of Sonic, is a lead creator of the movie. It has a nice story, but the movie seems botched because of its short run time. Overall, it is a nice addition to any anime, video game, Sega, or Sonic lover. I should say it, I've seen eight times.

Review: Yes, im just a normal 9 year old who loves Sonic, i have his action figure... Just rented an episdoe and gonna get this movie soon.I watched it at my freinds house, me and him said it rocked!Now im gonna get it soon!Also,i have OLMOST every game(except old ones.). Summary: Another Sonic Cartoon...
Review: I have seen three of the four Sonic cartoons. This isn't the worse of them, but it's far from the best. While the "Sonic the Hedgehog" show on ABC had a good storyline, good animation, memorable characters, etc and the syndicated "Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog" had... humor, this lands somewhere in the middle with decent animation, a little humor, and no memorable characters. The story is simple: Robotnik (Eggman to those of you who've latched on to Sonic in his "Adventure" days) has been kicked out of his city, and Sonic has to go save it along with Tails. When they reach there, they fight a giant robot (This particular Sonic is an anime), and beat it with help from Knuckles. Then they go on to find out that Robotnik is behind the big robot, and he now plans to melt the polar ice caps in order to collapse the world. One of the things I don't like about this movie is that the entire world is suspended in the air. This leaves Knuckles pretty homeless (He lives on a floating island in the games). They did give him a nice little niche, though, as a treasure hunter. All in all, this is a good Sonic movie. Not the best, but not the worse. Sonic and Tails' voices may annoy you at first, but you'll get used to them.
