Review: This is one of the best and most well-respected anime films of all time! Even though the lines from the original version of ANY given season were kinda weird ("Mamoru's being so nasty!" The American kids would have a ball with that.), the animation was stellar and the action was awesome! I especially loved the part where Ami, Rei, Makoto, and Minako flashed back to their lives before and after Usagi befriended them (Who would've thought Minako used to be unpopular?).Although this based mainly around Usagi and (Blarg) Mamoru (I still think Seiya-kun's better.), it was still funny and VERY enjoyable.

Review: What is there not to love about this movie? The whole thing is totally enjoyable. Very humorous,and ya gotta love Fiore. So what if it contains a homosexual doom tree race villan. Even tho he likes flowers a little TOO much, he's still really kool, and the nudity thing is no big deal, just kinda your standard transformation scenes [with curious background music..hmmm] The seiyuu's were excellent [Jupta Sta Powa] hee^_^I totally adored it, it was soo much better then the dubz! The cats' voice's [xspecially Luna's] were wicked kool. If you love Sailor Moon, you gotta see this! Even if you hate Sailor Moon, you still have to see this. BssM is the best anime ever!

Review: Mere words can not describe this movie. It is a shame that America 'has to' edit these wonderous anime shows and movies. I bought the uncut, original, japanese version of Sailor Moon R with the english subtitling. It was great. I personally give this movie a perfect rating. Purchase this movie along with Sailor Moon S and Sailor Moon SuperS in the uncut japanese versions. I did. Whatever you do, DO NOT purchase the American version of Sailor Moon R.(It has been un-nessecarily editted) The language is not that bad, the violence is nothing, and the nudity....Well, this country has a problem with nudity for some stupid reason. The fact is, there is nothing wrong with nudity. Anyway, I would estimate a total of about a whopping five seconds of nudity in the whole movie, if even that. In any case, get the Japanese version. Let's let America know we won't take any more of there pointless, and totally senseless editing of Japan's Anime masterpieces. Buy the Sailor Moon R movie now. Trust me, if you like Sailor Moon now, You will love her after watching this one.

Review: I got all three videos from a friend and this one is the best. The second best one is the S movie and the Super S one is okay. This one is in japanese and trust me, the japanese version is lot better than the american series. They are so cute in this.But to warn you, there are a lot of perverts in this movie. Fiore is Mamoru's(Darrien) from childhood. When the Moon Revenge song plays it is the best song out of all the final battle songs. I feel sorry for Usagi(Serena or Sailor Moon)because she get's,how should I say this, she kinda gets sexually abbused by Fiore. You'll have to watch the movie to find out how. Once you watch the japanese version, you'll like it a lot better than the American version.So overall, if you should choose between the japanese and american version, get the japanese version because it is like a 1,000 times better.

Review: The Sailor Moon R Movie is easily the best of the three movies, and far better than anything in the series - at least in the American dub. The art work is of the highest quality and the humor is great (picture Usagi kissing a slug.) But this movie's greatest strength is it's intriguing plotline. The villain has motivation! *GASP* There's only one drawback... it's not for little kids. It's in the original Japanese form, so it's not watered down. First of all, the villain is gay. To quote Ami, "It seems Mamoru is popular even with the boys." (Hehe.) Also, there's really minor nudity. The transformations show a little more of the body lines, plus the bad guy yanks Sailor Moon's Crystal, which makes her un-transform. Fortunately, streaming ribbons cover the important places. The last thing is that it's a tad more violent... as in there's blood. But none of these things should bother people over ten. Soooo... go out there and buy it! You won't regret it.

Summary: A gorgeous movie
Review: The Sailormoon R movie is a beautiful movie, definitely the one that shines most of the three movies (R, S, and SuperS). I've seen the original Japanese version subtitled and uncut. The original does contain some objectionable content, but nothing outrageous. This version, "The Promise of the Rose", is a dubbed version of the original. I have not seen this movie but I know it is cut (the original was rated 13-and-up and this one is for all ages). If you're a worried parent, order this one, but otherwise I HIGHLY recommend the original in its subtitled nakedness. ^_^ Sailormoon R is a movie just about anyone can enjoy, whether you're a Sailormoon fan or not, and it's a great way to introduce a friend to the enchanting anime.

Review: Sailor Moon R the movie is an excellent movie for anime lovers of all ages. Those who are cautious that it is for children, don't be mis-conceded. I'm not a child and I thought it was great. It was beautiflly drawn, and the romance between Usagi and Mamoru blooms. Its about an Alien Fiore that wants Mamoru all to himself, but Sailor moon won't let that happen...It gets suspensful near the end...Buy it I know I didn't regret it!

Review: First of all, I'd like to say that this is a fantastic movie. It is definitely worth buying for any fan of Sailormoon, anime, or anybody who wants to see a great film. Now onto the second part of this review. This movie has some objectionable content (Hello, parents). It's up to your discretion, of course, and I can't recoment an age, but I will inform you of the material. (some of which was not mentioned in the amazon.com review) First, there's the violence. It's quite mild, mind you, and its not gory, but the violence is a definite presence. Next, as mentioned before, is the nudity, which is mild as well, no graphic details. There is some profanity, some mature subject matter, a few accusations from Sailor Venus about varius people being perverts, and, of course the presence of homosexuality. It's up to the viewer to decide the sexual orientation of Fiore. I DO recomend buying this video, however, so long as parents buying it for their kids consider this material. For younger children, I'd recomend the dubbed version: objectionable content has been removed
