Summary: Wiggles-Dance Party
Review: I would highly recommend purchasing a different video. I was not impressed. I have other Wiggles videos and was very disappointed to find out this was from their classic collection. It looked like it was filmed in their basement. The description said from 2002. Think twice before spending your money.

Summary: A huge hit in our home!
Review: I totally agree with the other reviewers re: the set scenes and audio quality of this tape, however please don't let this make you pass on this Wiggles tape because it is indeed one of the best ones. My kids adore watching this one again and again. There must be something in the simplicity of it's format which makes it so engaging to little kids. I also bought the music CD of this video and the whole family enjoys listening during meal time and in the car! We have 8 or 9 of the Wiggles videos and this is one of top three in popularity.

Summary: It's all about the Kids
Review: OK, Anthony needs a serious haircut in this one, there are 3 Captain Featherswords (the field brothers actually), the video quality is poor and the sound quality isnt much better, BUT this is an excellent video. The music is very good and it is very entertaining for my little boy. It is a classic wiggles video. It has all the elements of what makes the wiggles such hits, great music, easy dances, and 4 colorful guys with their wiggly friends Wags, Dorothy, the Captain and Henry the Octopus. I would love to see them remake this video but since I dont see that happening in the near future I would say that this is a great video that your children will love (just make sure that your kids dont see you laughing at it as they are watching)

Summary: Don't let the inexpensive recording fool you
Review: It's fun to see how far this group has come. This very early video features Anthony in a green collared shirt playing both himself and Captain Feathersword. The scenery is obviously painted and taped together (you can see the cardboard lines!), and the recording studio is dull and under-lighted.

But, fear not, the music is superb. It was these songs, remember, that made the Wiggles the big stars they are today. So put away your negative comments of the production and be a kid...just enjoy the show!

Summary: The Wiggles Dance Party
Review: I have been a Wiggle fan with my (now 4 year old) granddaughter for over three years. We have most if not all of their videos. They are all superb!! I enjoy this one because it is one of their first efforts and it is great to see them as they grow. Of course they look like they are in their twenties! They are! Everyone has to start somewhere and even at their beginnings they had so much to offer and still do. I have seen them live and can't wait to see them again. What will I do when my granddaughter outgrows them? I doubt if she ever will but if she does, well, I still own the videos and they will continue to get lots of use! One last thing; as their videos continue, I think it is super that they give such grand productions for our little ones who so often get lost in the shuffle where entertainment is concerned.
By the way, I just bought a back up copy of Dance Party as it is a treasure and if the other wears out from excessive use, well, I want to be sure to still have a copy.

Summary: Still Great!
Review: My 22 month old son loves this video as much as the other Wiggles videos that we own. He especially likes jumping up and down and pretending to bump his head to "Five Little Joeys".

I don't think the fact that this is an older tape makes it any less fun than their more recent releases. If anything, seeing them as they were in 1995 is actually an added bonus. They look so young! And Anthony's wild hair is hilarious.

It was also interesting to see that a couple of the young dancers (the choreographer's daughters?) from their later videos were in this one too. Even when they were quite young, they were very good dancers!

The songs and dancing are still great in this video -- I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Summary: Your kid/s will like it, but.....
Review: This video looks like a [dollar] store one, i mean, image/sound quality is poor (if they did it with the money they have now, it would be awesome). Because of this, it takes a few times watching it until u start liking it, but the kids liked it from the beggining. Missing the "real" Capt. Feathersword here (Paul Paddick). The quartet looks like they're in their 20's (Anthony, u really needed a barber!!). But who cares...NOT THE KIDS, they don't notice the low budget as we do. My oldest son (2 yrs) watches it more than "Hoop-dee-Doo" which is very well made. So go on, i don't think it'll be wasted money.

Summary: My 1 year old watches this whole tape for 40 minutes!!
Review: This is a great tape. My 1 year old loves to watch it. The whole family is singing the songs now! It also encourages dance and exercise. He dances through the whole tape!

Summary: great songs
Review: I read through the reviews because i always like to see what people have to say about my favorite movies. i decided to see what other americans thought of this favorite aussie import. unfortunately many parents think that this is low quality work on the wiggles part. i disagree wholeheartedly! they are not slacking in the least, they are giving us 100%, which is what you insinuate when you say that this is low quality. this video may be low budget and yes, you have to turn the volume way up to hear it really well, but the songs are awesome! i dont mind all of the sets being a little kitschy (spelling?) or the magical regrowing haircuts or even the fact that captain feathersword is 3 different people. this was the first wiggles tape we bought and a favorite. why? because anthony makes the silliest faces while playing those tiny drums in "the flap"... because they are a bit more believable than some stupid purple dinosaur hanging out with a bunch of hyperactive kids... because their songs are catchy and universal... because there is not one bad song... and because they are refreshingly different. i saw these guys live last year and i cant wait till they come again. i dont know what im going to do when my daughter grows out of these tapes. i know that at first, watching it seems like youre seeing a car accident; you cant turn away but you dont want to see it, either. but by the second time if you dont find yourself humming "wags the dog", thats your misfortune. and one last thing... i dont think the wiggles were being dishonest when making this tape. it may have older things on it, but it WAS put together in 2001. usually an artist has a contract of how many things they have to put out in a year and they are a TOURING PARTY, touring all of the time, constantly... they may have had no time to make something new, let alone have a say in it. bottom line i love the wiggles...

Summary: Addictive: Our Famly has contracted the Wiggles
Review: At first I thought these guys were really odd, but my niece and daughter love them and now I find myself singing 'Toot-Toot, Chugga-Chugga, Big Red Car'... A lot of fun, go ahead have yourself a 'Wiggle Party'.
