Summary: great children's movie
Review: A bad storm is bearing down on Edmund's family farm and everyone tells him he's too little to help. His mother reads him a story about a rooster who thinks he can raise the sun by crowing and an evil owl who sets out to prove him wrong. Edmund falls asleep and becomes a part of the story. The owl turns him into a kitten and Edmund must help the other farm animals find Shanticlair(the rooster)to bring back the sun before the owl takes over the farm. At first, Edmund thinks he can't do anything to help because he feels helpless as a tiny kitten. An even smaller mouse teaches him that any effort, no matter how small, can make a difference.
I won't tell the whole story, but I will add that "that rooster sure can crow!" He's basically a barnyard Elvis :). The singing is great! When I first saw this movie I thought it was a Disney. It's that good. I'm not naive enough to think all Disney films are great, but most times you can see the quality in their films. All I know is, my kids love it and I always willingly watch it with them!

Summary: It's Worth the Money!
Review: I finally got a dvd player and the first thing I did was look for Rock-A-Doodle. Everywhere I looked it was so expensive but when I looked here, I found it for the perfect price! This movie is defenitely worth the money! If you are looking at this and debating whether to buy, you are just wasting your time, buy it.

Review: I Grew Up on this movie, it was my second favorite movie next to the pagemaster, which i recomend to anyone. The story is simple,sweet, and very funny for kids. InFact im about to go rent it for my 3 year old nephew

Review: i have no clue what they were talking about i watched it many times when i was little and i loved it then a little while ago i watched it again as an adult and i still loved it i completelly understood what was going on it makes perfect sence and anyone who didnt understand it needs to get their brains checked or suttin because thats a good ass movie for kids and for ppl in touch with the kid inside us all.i mean they are thinking lojically like how can a boy become a cat and u cant always analyze movies like thati mean i dont hear them saying the wizard of oz didnt make sence about some girl flying over a rainbow into a land of farytales and everything

Review: I remember being caught up in the drama through the eyes of my first born when the movie was first released. He was just 2 years old and Rock-A-Doodle was his favorite, Now, 11 years later I introduced my youngest daughter to this classic and she's hooked, glad Netflix lets you keep DVD's as long as you like as I'm going to have to buy it before she'll let me return our rented copy!!

Review: I rented this movie awhile back for the kids I babysit for. The plot just doesn't make sense. It's just a series of events that happen. I wouldn't recommend anyone to watch it.

Review: I was 4 when I first watched it and I have been searching for the title to this moive for over 13 years I finnally found it and watched it again and Its still the same great moive that I have alway had a nack for. Its great for kids. A bit scary in a few spots but its an awsome moive full of adventure and the singing is out of this world. Anyone can enjoy this moive.

Review: I watched this movie as a small kid, and I loved it. To an adult, this film makes no sense, and sure is pointless. But, when I was little, it was full of danger, fun, music and bravery. I used to beg my mom to let me watch it again. I loved it. A kids movie.

Summary: It Sure Kept the Kids Busy For About Two Years
Review: It has been over a decade since I heard this movie--I say heard, and not saw...because my 4 kids were under its spell with repeated viewings. I never sat down to watch it from start to finish, but I remember chuckling at things I heard, and the Elvis/rooster character was amusing. Our VHS tape got ruined from too much use (and juice spills). My four are teenagers now, but I'll bet they'd get a kick out of seeing it again. I recommend this movie for kids.
