Summary: Lion King 2 IS A REAL GREAT MOVIE!!!!!!!!!
Review: Disney really outdid themselved with Lion King 2 Simba's Pride, I saw it on video, the animation was superb, I give this movie 2 thumbs up and 5 stars because the plot was great, the story was great, even the music was great. The music is WAY MORE better than the music in Lion King, the music is VERY upbeat including the song "He Lives In You" Sung by Lebo M. I really liked the movie. I hope Disney will make a Lion King 3 which will show what will happen when Kiara becomes Queen of the Pride Lands. You should buy the video. Keep up the good work Disney :-)

Summary: Minstens net zo goed als de eerste Leeuwenkoning
Review: Ik vind het spannend en leuk. Hij is op sommige momenten ook wel zielig, maar dat hoort er, vind ik, ook bij. Al met al is het een hele coole film!

Summary: Dark, Confusing, Convoluted Plot...Avoid this one.
Review: I particularly would not recommend this movie for children under 6. The only positive message for kids to readily take from this movie comes at the very end.

My advice: if you have to judge this movie for yourself, rent it and preview before letting the kids watch it.

Summary: nOT AS GOOD AS LION KING 1
Review: THOUGHT IT WOULD BE BETTER JUST RENT IT FROM YOUR LOCAL BLOCKBUSTER OR IF YOU HAVE LION KING 1 BUY LION KING 2 GOOD FOR YOUR COLLECTION

Summary: Ultra Dude Spiffed Up
Review: Not as good as the first one, but still a great film. I missed having a Hans Zimer score though, the music was just lame in part 2.

Summary: Good, but could be better
Review: Overall the film flowed well, but unfortunately, like many sequels, it doesn't live up to the original. Buy it from duty free - it's only £11.90 and it's worth it. I don't think it's worth £15.00 however.

Summary: TLK2:SP is a excellent video!
Review: Well, I am another Lion King fan and its not suprising that I would get the copy of the sequel once it is placed on the shelves!. The animation of the video was excellent with some kind of 'computer animation' ? ( I assume :) ) The plot is also another plus for a video release feature that most of us have never seen before!

One point: It is good enough to be released on the silver screen!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Can't decide if it's better than the 1st.
Review: When I first saw the preview for this movie, I was so excited! The movie focuses on Simba's(Matthew Broderick) daughter, Kiara(NeveCampbelle), and how Simba trys to give her the father he could'nt have. Simba banishes Zira, and other lionesses loyal to Scar. Kiara ends up falling in love with Zira's son, Kovu(Jason Marsden) who's been raised in an un-loving, angry, and possibly abusive family who has trained him to make friends with Kiara in order to kill Simba in revenge of Scar. Kovu ends up falling in love with Kiara and becomes a better lion, even though he still has personality problems that might not can be fixed, and just when Simba was trusting him, a gang of lionesses attackes him. Simba escapes, and in anger, he banishes Kovu from the pridelands. Though he may have been hasty, Simba has been left with a Scar in his heart, and wants to take no chances that the things that happened in Simba's past might happen to his daughter. There might not be a point watching the movie since I blabbed out the whole plot, but it's a great movie! It has some silly(sometimes hilarious) parts, and fun songs mostly for the youngsters, and great drama scenes and beutiful music(similar to Martin Page and Sacred Spirits) that the older audience might get the most of, so it's perfect for all ages! I just can't decide if it's better than the 1st or not. It's background music does'nt compare to that composed by Hans Zimmer. But the animation looks better(not as dramatic, though) and the movie seems longer than the 1st. But you'd be a fool to not watch this. In fact, just buy it and don't bother renting it(well, it's you'r choice).
