Summary: Harry Potter
Review: It was good to finally be able to see and understand fully about the Quidditch, doesn't matter how many times I've re read all the books, I still found it unbearably hard to get a grip on it, even though I got sea sick watching it. hehe, was still a great movie and perfectly tied into the book!! :)

Summary: A movie that did the book justice
Review: It is rare that I will admit that a movie version of a book was actually good. Most cases it's the exact opposite. This movie was quite a surprise. The movie didn't skip a thing. Alright, so it skipped a few things, but nothing too important. I just loved the book and was very weary of the movie release only because I didn't want to see my beloved characters destroyed. I was pleasantly surprised when they were just as I had pictured them all (except McGonnegal). I would still suggest reading the book first. Then, definately see the movie!!

Review: An amazing, astounding, fabulous production of the book that thrilled me, as it thrilled my three kids and my husband. I'm almost 40 years old, and I saw the movie 3 times. Can't wait to buy the movie so I can watch it many more times. SEE THIS MOVIE!
You'll love it!

Summary: Lacking a Soul
Review: I loved the books, I LOVED thembut you're not going to listen tothis review anyway because im one of the few who didn't like it. ButThis movie was rushed, it kicked everytihng up to fast speed to get itdone in time. I tried while watching it to enjoy it, but it justdidnt happen Little neeeds to be said about it, you can read otherreviews. But LISTEN dont put too much stock in what the fans say. Theyare all Book fan yes men, who like the movie just because it is harrypotter. I am an avid reader and have seen many good book movieadaptation, and this isnt one of them. If you want to see a moviebased on a book, go see Lord of the Rings or anytihng by JohnGrisham. So im not bias this is a fair review by someone who reallyreallly wanted to love this film. SO take my advice and dont justlove the name Harry Potter, open your eyes and read the books again ifyou have to

My Problem isnt that it was cut or it didnt have all thebook material in it. It just didnt capture the essence of the story, the casting is horrendous, the acting is worse, and the story was toldall wrong. Sorry I know you wont listen to me, you see all theseother shallow reviews of Potter Maniacs and you WILL beleive them, Iknow I would, but I went to the theater with all open minded fans, andthey all hated it. I have seen it twice in hopes to like it uponsecond viewing, NOPE

This is a good childrens movie, but "theemporers new grrove" or classics like "the Wizard of OZ" were MUCHMUCH better E.T is coming back to theaters go see that, buy it onDVD with the money you saved by renting Harry Potter instead of buyingit.

Summary: Review Made By Melissa And Abbey Of Gryffindor House
Review: This movie is great.Harry Potter fans consider this movie a must-see.We loved it.And I think that even people who aren't Harry Potter fans should see it.Its exciting, dramatic, scary, and last but not least magical.John Williams made this movie more exciting and realistic by music. We are total fans of him. We are so into music it almost seems that we're surreal. And his music is all around best. His sound corresponded so well that we could almost see the movie in our heads. But enough about music.Get this movie. Its awesome.Bye!>)

Summary: Great entertainment for all ages.
Review: I am 58 years old and I couldn't wait for this movie and it was everything I hoped for and more. Comedy, action, three headed dogs, evil people, heros, villians, a great cast and a beautiful location. In my opinion, not as good as "Lord Of The Rings" but for the audience it was intended for, it is the better movie and I can't wait for the next one.

Summary: work comes alive
Review: At first I was like many people and thought this movie wold ruin my thoughts of what the wizard world is like but after I saw it I knew it was on of the best movies ever. It made the wizard world come alive for me. It also skiped some parts but if it showed all of the book it would take several tapes to hold it and countless hours to show it. I am glad they made it into a movie. I will also be seeing the rest of them not only in my mine but also on the screen.

Summary: Daniel Radcliffe killed Harry Potter!
Review: To start I would like to say that this movie had the posibility of being a clasic, with such a fantastic script, and nearly universaly popular subject matter, Warner Bros. can't go wrong. Right? HA! Anticipation of this movie was palpable among Harry Potter readers. Fanatics stood in lines for hours (I regret to say I was among them). Once the movie started cheers arose from the crowd, oh so eagarly awaiting thier magical fix. But like many others I was forced to cringe, gasp and groan at the attrosities and aborations that was inflicted upon this posible gem. I am shocked by their casting choises. I'm sorry Danniel Radcliffe, but you suck deary. He was posibly the worst actor on the screen I have ever had the dismay of being subjected to. Radcliffe's monotonous, dry and juvinile acting skills litteraly murdered the character of Harry. Not to leave out Chris Colombus's directing. *shudder* But not all the charecters were as terrifyingly terrible as poor Harry. Maggie Smith's portrayal of Minerva McGonnagal was a pure delight, and Rupert Grint as Ron Weasly was exceptional (especialy next to his counterpart). Believe me I had the biggest expectations for this movie *sigh* but, there are some things in life one simply can't deny.
