Summary: Kids Like It
Review: My 7 year old daughter loved this film, thought it was absolutely hysterical. My only complaint was the cats were the bad guys trying to take over the world. There's already too much cruelty to cats in real life. But my daughter didn't mind though her favorite pet is her cat. She even called home from her grandparents' to tell her cat about it.

Summary: The Muppets on ...
Review: This movie has a simple-minded plot with a gimick of canine and feline creatures that talk. The gimick works for all of about five minutes on screen, then it is played out until the humans find out that animals can talk. James Bond meets 101 Dalmations. The End.

The poster says "Who will you root for?" But from the start you have no choice. Dogs are the good guys. Dogs are the saviours of Humanity. Cats are evil and stupid. That is the consensus of the movie. Being a feline lover my self, I wish the cats had had more depth, but they only got maybe 10% of the screen time the dogs had.

Enjoyable for ages 9-16. Parents will love a few brief moments of the flick, just DO NOT TAKE your infants or children who are easily scared to this movie! I actually enjoyed some of it. But with all the screaming kids and babies in the audience, it was hard to enjoy anything. Half the kids were crying within twenty minutes.

Make that a warning to parents withOUT baby-sitters: DON'T BOTHER! You will just ... ... half the audience!

Review: If there was such thing as 6 stars, then that's what I would rate the movie. The movie is halarious! I just wish that the movie was coming out on video instead of in theaters. I rate this movie 6 stars out of 5(if there is such a thing).

Summary: This is the summer movie to see!
Review: Forget Lara Croft, Jurrasic Part 95 - grab the kids, the grandparents and roar the station wagon over to the cineplex to see this movie! Like Toy Story 2 this movie is good for children and hysterical for adults! The evil Mr. Tinkles is the best Villan - right up there with Autsin Power's Dr. Evil! This movie is a highlight of the summer - you'll laugh you'll cry you'll nuzzle your pet when you get home! I always thought my dog was smarter than 3/4 of the human population now I know he is for sure! Don't miss the Ninja fighting cats - too good!!

Summary: Great fun
Review: Tired of taking your kids to a family movie and finding it's neither for them or you?

Cat's and Dog's is wonderful family entertainment. I went with the neighbor's kids and they couldn't stop turning to me with a "Hey this is cool," look in their eyes.

I was entertained.

The film is witty, innocent, fun and winking here and there at adults.

Kids will love the adventure.

This is not Shrek where you wonder if my kid should of heard that or seen that... etc.

This is much better.

So bring your friends and as many kids as you can find. Everyone will have a ball... and be on the look out for the Russian Spy kitty.

Sincerly, J.R.

Summary: This is a COOL movie!
Review: My kid and me love this movie. My 16 old sister laughed all the way through it. My 7 year old loved the cute puppy "Lou" and all the jokes and action throughout the movie.

Summary: Cats & Dogs for the Plus 60 Generation
Review: I loved this movie. Many good laughs and an enjoyable evening in the theatre. I can't forget Lou and Mr. Tinkles and some of their lines. "Evil does not wear a bonnet." Mr. Tinkles was so cute dressed in all his outfits. Reminds me of being a child and dressing up the animals as dolls. The bath scene for Mr. Tinkles was great, when the normally very fluffy Mr. Tinkles was shaggy and dripping wet, and the other cat commenting how slim he looked. Sophie was such a fun character and her role was very well done as the caregiver and owner of Mr. Tinkles. Lou was my favorite and I think of him being just the dog I would love to own. They were such endearing animals. I remember the doberman saying to the puppies he was trying to encourage to look cute, "Wag those tails". So many humorous lines.

Much of the humor just pops in my mind daily. A truly wonderful bit of escape. There should be more films like this. The live animals make it a film for all generations.

Summary: A Movie To Bring Out The Hyena In You
Review: This movie is hilarious, and fit for the family. Both my wife and I are leary of most movies, but this one was very safe, and very funny.
Most of the special effects were realistic enough, though some were a little cartoonish.
If you want to see one of the most influential, award winning, thought provoking movies of all time, this is NOT that movie. But if you want to get away from reality for an hour and a half, have a good time, and feel comfortable with your children watching it with you, this should be high on your list.

Summary: The Fur is Flying!
Review: Cats and dogs are, without a doubt, the two most popular pets in the world. Who can resist those cats when they purr while rubbing up against your face? And what about man's best friend, when they look at you with those cute, puppy eyes?

Of course, that purring and those puppy eyes are all just an act, to hide from us humans the fact that there is a war going on between cats and dogs. The cats want to take over the world, once again forcing humans to submit to their will, while dogs are determined to protect humanity from the evil cats.

That, in a nutshell, is the plot of "Cats & Dogs," a sometimes funny, but flawed, look at a battle going on right underneath our clueless noses.

Overall, this movie is quite funny and enjoyable to watch. There are several truly hilarious moments (the entire ninja cats sequence is the best) and the voice-overs are great. But the special effects, especially in the beginning of the movie, leave a lot to be desired. There are several spots throughout the movie when you are jarred out of the fantasy of the movie because what you are seeing looks so fake.

The DVD version does come with some interesting extras, some of which are different depending on whether you select the dog or cat choice in the beginning.

This is probably a movie you will want to rent first before you buy. Although most people will enjoy it, not too many will be interested in watching it again and again.

Summary: Cats, Dogs, and Loads of Fun
Review: Sure ,this film does beat up on cats to some degree, but it does work as a fun film. No doubt a film with Cats as the winner will surface at some stage :-)... maybe, but who cares if it does not.
The way the cat outsmarts the first doggie agent is pretty cool.
Providing a gag that has been running through many commercials and countless set pieces in various videos.
This film reminds me a lot of the radio version of HITCHHIKERS GUIDE where the mice have a secret agenda( or, more accurately, Agendum, since it is a single purpose ).
Anyways, loads of fun, plenty of goofy fun gags.
